Witty Wings 1:72
Never noticed this line before, but they seem to have an good detailing, decent price, and an impressive line-up. How would you rate these?
Re: Witty Wings 1:72
I have couple 1:72 F18 Hornet models from them. They are very good models for the money especially when they're on sale from The Flying Mule site.

Witty Wings are a decent line, but many of their models have "issues". Such as canopies, and noses that don't look quite right. Particularly the jets.
Although they do offer some interesting schemes not done by any other manufacturers.
If you aren't a rivet counter, and can get it for a good price, go for it.

Re: Witty Wings 1:72
I have a few models from Witty and so my opinions are limited to what I have, plus from what I have read from the diecast forums.
The most important feature for me is that Witty models from the older releases all have fixed landing gear. I like having optional gear so I am quite pleased that the recent releases gives you the optional gear, though I am not clear when this option was started in their portfolio of models.
Also some of the older models comes with its own display stand (very slightly poseable on a planes roll angle) which are very well approved in the collector community. Each stand is customized to a individual model, example one stand for F/A-18, one stand for F-14 but the good thing is it can be used for other brands of the same jet. The stands can also be modified to carry other models if you are skilled at that. The downside is that all the new releases now does not come with a stand now as far as I know, you have to purchase seperately, most probably a cost cutting decision with possibly the effect of countering supplying optional gear costs.
Based on my own collection, plus reading comments on forums about models I have an interest in,
F-15C - generally passable to positive, main complaint is that the canopy is mis-shapened
F-15E - mostly negative, inaccurate or fake 'E' like mounting of ordnance rack
F/A-18 C/D - many cannot get past the inaccurate shape of the nose
F/A-18 E/F - very well received, some say the best available in the market
EA-18G - mostly positive, some ordnance inaccuracy but only Growler game in town?
Mig-29s - some like it, some don't, not sure why but I do like it.
Su-27s - positive, may not be the most accurate but its sure a very nice chunk of heavy metal.
Zeros - many different marks and schemes but generally very positively approved off
