Post by Heer » Sun Jan 22, 2012 8:57 am

Motorpool seems to have the4 complete list of FOV's 2012 releases in 1/72 and 1/32. 1/32 will see a re-release on many vehicles, notably the panther (Belgium version) and jagdpanther(normandy version). For the allies in 1/32, a re-re-release of the pershing and the coveted t-34/85 and many more.In 1/72, an M-10 tank destroyer, flak wagon wespe, etc.

Those these are just repaints/past releases, I like what is coming out: it is a large step for FOV considering their performance in the past few years. I wonder if the this panther will have zimmerit?

Would have loved to see the M-10 Flak-Wagon, and Wespe in 1/32. Looking foward to the Panther. Probably no zimmerit. Just a new paint job on the original model.

Wow, I told you that FoV would do better this year!
Lots of great releases, the jeep with trailer is going to be popular!

I too would have liked to see a 1:32 Wespe, but really I cannot complain with this line up!

I hope the 1/32 Opel Blitz 3 ton truck (4th panzer), and the new Krupp cargo truck come with some new 1/32 figures. Seems all the repaints have the same orginal figures, from the first issue.

* It's about time FoV :o 8) ... but their still long over due on a TD in 1/32 . They finally decided on a "meat wagon" this time round. 8) The Krupp Protze is an interesting addition. My wish for another T-34/85 has come true. Ugly scheme for the Panther though , hopefully it will look better when it's finally released.

* I will be getting these as well as a few of the re-paints.

............. This is something to look forward to , just hope FoV decides to keep moving forward w/o stalling.

Out of the new releases for 2012, the m-26 pershing seems to be most interesting.
What is with the camo :?:

......... the camo on it looks kinda crappy to me. The Pershing & the Panther both but I doubt very much the Panther will have any zimmerit.

I don't think that the panther will have any zimmeret. The 2 paratroopers on the panther seems to be included. I am definatelygoing to buy th t-34, panther, and tiger 1. :D :D

FOV also eems to be re-releasing the S1 normandy jagdpanther. I think they finally saw the prices on ebay and decided to release the exact same vehicle.I have the germany version, which looks very good, and can qualify as a normandy vehicle as well.

I think the t-34 and panther will both be worth buying.
I was thinking the panther will represent an operation market garden vehicle and require zimmerit, but maybe FOV is going for an ardennes panther. That will work, but hopefully the camo will turn out better for the production.

Its about time they had an ambulance for the Americans. The Zimmermint tiger looks nice as well. Glad its gonna be a big release.

I'm liking the look of the expanded 72 scale fare. It's a lot more than I expected.

The FOV new releases are very exciting. I realize there is a large contingent here into the armor. I can appreciate that but a 'new' 1 1/2 ton Dodge truck, the jeep with a top and a trailer, a US ambulance, the Krupps vehicle. I'm all over these. Admittedly, I like the soft skinned vehicles, but armor needs support as do boots on the ground. Considering the recent drought, 2012 is gong to be a decent year. My fears of the death of 1/32 have been postponed. Now I will have to find new hiding places for all of these new vehicles.

My error. No new 1 1/2 ton Dodge. I do like the repainted Opel as well as the repainted T34...

Wow. A lot of neat stuff. While there's a number of repaints, they are repaints of great vehicles that have not been done in quite a while. Very excited about a new T-34 and all the soft-skinned vehicles look great.

I'd like to see these 1/32:

1. M551 Sheridan--Desert Storm,
2. M50 Ontos--Vietnam
3. M36 Jackson--World War II
4. M18 Hellcat--World War II

A new Chaffee in 1/32? And a new Pershing and T34? This is really nice - Have whittled my 1/32 armor collection down a lot, but these three new offerings are a "must have"!

Did I see correctly, a new Abrams in 1:32?

Finally something to get excited over, new 1:32... This dry spell, combined with a move that still has me without a "project room" was about to do me in. This is good news indeed.

Now where am I going to display a third platoon of Abrams...?

I'm sitting in the airport in Ft. Lauderdale, using the internet on my phone, but I just had to comment. I am very pleases that FOV is releasing so much this year. I will pick up most of these probably, and I am glad to see 1/32 is alive and well in FOV's hands.
