I'm a newbie to Corgi 1/32.
All it took was a really good deal on a Hurricane and I'm hooked.

Glad you scored some 456thbg.

Just saw Corgi 1/32 109G-2 "Yellow 12", MIB, on ebay for $49.00 BIN + $16.00 shipping!

Recent purchase of 2 Hurricanes tapped me out for time being!

Yeah that's a good deal.
Seems to be plenty of them around though.

So any more info on that All-Go Typhoon and the rest of the elusive 1/32 fleet?

Could have bought a 1:18 Spitfire or a Corgi Mosquito for that price.
Guess I should be thankful. :?

Certain 32X aircraft and DF sets have been fetching some pretty insane prices on ebay lately, but there seems to be a fairly good, steady supply on most of them, so with a little patience and persistence it's still possible to bring home fairly good deals. That being said, be prepared to pay about double what they originally sold for at retail.

Yeah I'll wait for the next ones to come up if they go too high. That's ridiculous.

Rarely will I pay double, but sometimes I do. The highest so far (other than this Dogfight pack) for one aircraft I think was a "Miss Bonnie" at $32. Luckily I have most everything 21st 1/32 give or take a few pieces.

Some people just gotta have them though.
Funny how one week they're around what I paid or slightly lower or higher, then the next week crazy prices.

Think I'd have a major case of buyer's remorse if I forked out that amount.

Yes, but what did you PAY for it? That's what inquiring minds want to know.

...oh yeah $31.00 plus $9.00 shipping. About the same price for a 1:18 plane at Walmart back in the day.

Times have changed :? and I'm still missing a couple of 262's. They seem to be climbing in price lately for an older mold.

Good thing I got the "Red B" (uh that one is missing from the database) a while ago at TRU. It's the most outrageously ending priced one these days.

Not bad at all, given the current state of affairs. 8)

Guess I should have bought several at the time.

But then I can say that for just about every now-collectible item I've ever bought.

Just picked up the elusive "Double Nuthin" on ebay tonite. I sniped it off in the very last seconds, and it's always a good feeling when you can pull it off. Ran me a little over $40 including priority mail delivery, and considering the relative scarcity of this particular model I think it's a fairly good deal. 8)

That's a tough one to get these days. It's the new mold too.

Glad you scored.

Did you get it in the 21st green box or the Target exclusive black and red box?

In the standard 21st green 32X LE box. The guy lives pretty close by, and he PM'd me to say he'll ship tomorrow by priority mail, so I should have it in a few days. 8)

Good find, ostketten...It's my favorite of all the 21C P51's (1/32)...I'd buy it again, in a heart beat, if it came out in 1/18th scale! Might look cool flying next to my P47 Checkertail! (Oh, sorry, Passion Wagon's next)

The green box is rarer I think. I never saw it at any Walmarts and believe me I hunted everywhere in my area. I managed to score 2 of the Target ones though.

Not that the box matters to me that much but I like the fact that the 21st box puts the little label in the corner that tells you who flew the plane and what squadron.

Coolness! 8)

I can see it's Grant Smith that flew the plane. (no label on my red/black box) can't quite make out the rest of it with the squadron etc.

Can't remember but those look like Japanese kill flags, which would mean Pacific theatre? Yellow stripes on the wings also could mean Pacific too if I'm not mistaken. Though the checkertail Razorback P-47 is Europe Theatre I think.
I dunno. :?:

Two Jap flags and one German. This is an MTO bird operating in the Italy area.

319th Fighter Squadron, 325th Fighter Group, 18th Air Force, Lesina Italy, early 1945. As far as I can tell the 319th never fought in the Pacific, so the Japanese kill flags are a mystery to me. :?
