Please help me I'm falling!

I simply cannot start collecting 1/72 airplanes or I'm going to have to rent a warehouse somewhere.

But this is awfully tempting, and 3000toys is offering free shipping this weekend.

Go for it

I like the Corgi 1:72 bombers and have a few, but not as many as I would like. The B-24 is a nice one with all the moving turrets and crew figures at their stations. The bomb bay does not open as on other Corgi planes, which is my only gripe.

I got my Corgi B-24 NIB off ebay for $50 in an olive drab scheme that I liked. The 3000 toys deal is good, but shop around as well

I got the Corgi 1/72 B-24 "Dragon and His Tail" on ebay for about $40. I wish I could find their Ploesti B-24 "Ball of Fire III" for a decent price but never have.
I also have the Corgi 1/72 B-17 Memphis Belle and Lancaster "Dambuster" and am still looking for the B-17 "Bit O' Lace" for a decent price, but they're very scarce.

The Corgi heavies are really nice.I have a couple of B-24's,B-17's,a Lancaster and a Halifax.
The twin engine bombers are great too.
The Wellington comes in many schemes,as does the Catalina.
Corgi also does a great job on the B-25,He111 and Ju88.
It would be nice if they released a B-26 Marauder.I think that a B-26 would have strong sales.
If you haven't tried the Corgi multi engined bombers, you should.

Corgi has not released a B-26 yet, though Unimax has for their Forces of Valor lineup. The plane is not quite Corgi quality, but still very nicely detailed. The FOV bombers display well with their Corgi counterparts.

I'm having a hard time as well. I want to collect 1/72 but I know I'll get hooked and will amass a huge collection, like my 1:32. I saw 1:72 MRC helis at Hobby Lobby that looked beautiful, especially that Eurocopter Tiger...

I've got one plastic Hornet by the brand that replaced FOV's action line, I can't recall the name. I like it a lot and even though it's not too detailed it's pretty sweet. Sigh... I'm hunting for 1:32 helis and have had moderate luck...

:? I really wish I could afford to dive head first into 1:72. They make all of the century fighters in 1/72 and in some cases 1/48... Don't get me started on 1/48... I have 7 or 8 pieces of that and I'm tempted to make it my new scale if I can't get more 1/32.

I'm sorry for the wall of text but I don't come on much anymore... I miss this place, but with 1/32 withering away on us, I really don't have much to say since I can't feasibly collect 1/72 or 1/48 and 1/18 is now out of my ballpark for the most part...
