I read about the finds of new 1/48 Bf 109s but the WM near work just stocked the 109G green 4 and 109K white 17 in the 2 side window box. Most WM had these on clearance 6 months ago

Found a lone Panzer 38 at the Clovis, CA TRU, which I snatched immediately. Glad that wait is over. The same store also had the new 32x playsets and the 1:48 planes. The "Bald Eagle" P-51 looks good with a Malcolm hood

The Toys R Us in Columbus has more Jagdtigers in stock between them than was actually produced by the Germans in WWII. I just wish that those Pnzr 38s and Marders show up soon. Although I did see a new FOV StuGIII w/o skirts but it contained a 4 man set - 2 were crew and 2 were riders.

I found several "Enthusiast Grade" FOV Schwimmwagens and and Amphibian vehicles today 8) They featured the weathering, extra accessories, and the info card. Funny thing is the same store still had the "Action Grade" versions of the same vehicles on the same shelf.

I found the Kursk Panther Playset at WM. Very nice Panther and the Russian figures are really great, especially the female sniper! They also had the Operation Torch set but I'm definitely not impressed with that one.

This new set and Cobra Breakout set with the Firefly and the cool German figures are definitely my favorites. 8)

   I thought that might be the reason!

I found and purchased a pristine Tarheel Hal from Wally today. In the pictures I was never really sure if I would like it but in person, wow, what a beautiful bird! The Chinese QC guy must have actually been awake when this one went down the line.

I'm gonna hang it next to Evie.

Found the Panzer 38t and MarderIII yesterday at the Philipsburg NJ TRU's. They only had 1 of each.

The figure is a FOV one.

For our NW Thurston Co. members, last night I picked up the DAK figures and the new P-51D S1 at the Hawk's Prarie WM. I left about 10 each figure pack A, B and Mustangs on the shelf. They also had about four S1 FQ-190A.

Good hunting.

Picked up the new Marder III Sd.Kfz. 139 at TRU in Bel Air, MD. They had only 4 of them. I was looking for the first Marder Ausf. M, but to my surprise found the latest offering. The only other 21st century armor there was the Jagdtiger in new livery, the same one you see at every TRU. However, they did have the new playsets, kursk and operation torch. Other than that, a scattering of planes. Not much in 1/32 FOV, but lots of 1/72 and 1/144th scale stuff.

Local WMs still have the same selection of 32x, but they did get the new 1/48 Bf-109G-10s and K-4s in the new window boxes..

For the NW crowd: today I found a single Kursk battle set with the Russian infantry and the new paint Panther along with a single FW190 red 9 for hwworth. Hopefully they will be shipping more of these our way. Found it at the WM at 168th and Meridian, kind of out of the way.

Nothing new at any of the Pierce Co. WMs except for the one find I picked up.
