Productive 1/32 xtreme wings seasons so far, huh?
I've recently purchased the Tex Hill P-40, Berlin Express, Shangri La, Bullfrog, red 3 109E, Evie P-47, yellow 15 dora, V103 Zero. Waiting for the Tarheel Hall, Russian 109, Bald Eagle, Polish RAF, and Princess to arrive locally. I'm not even actively expecting the new FWs and P-51s any time soon-
And the last 1/18 product I bought was a..........let me think....uh
It's one thing to get repaints of 1/18 stuff- and alot easier and cheaper to get repaints of the 1/32 products.

Saw a lot of those too when I went to a TRU in N. Tonawanda, NY. They also had alot of Berlin Express, and at least one Shangri La, and a 1/18th PaK 40.Jagdplastic wrote:The 32X S2 Jagdtiger and 32X Yellow 15 FW-190D-9 have arrived at the Cary, NC TRU.
Besides the 21st Century offerings, there were plenty of FOV offerings including four Dragon Wagons, three Apaches and Blackhawks, ME-262's, Zeroes, P-40's, alot of figure sets, and one Enthusiaist edition Tiger.
BBI was kinda slim. Just a couple 1/18th Corsairs, some 1/18th paras and three 1/6th figures (one modern and two WWII medics)

Just did a little wandering about.
Target in Visalia, Ca did have a 1:32 Action Grade HIMARS, as well as the standard M1A1, several sets of soldiers, but nothing new, and the Stug and M5.
Tulare, Ca Target had the same, but with one interesting example, a weathered, metal antennaed (is that a word?), four-figured, accessory-filled with lots of firearms, 1:32 M3 halftrack. I was impressed. I'd say it was an Enthusiast Grade item mis-boxed, but I haven't seen the Enthusiast M3, so I can't be sure.
I really wanted the M3, but I just can't beat the deal I've been getting buying them at Visalia's TRU, mis-priced at less than $10. True, it's not "loaded", but rather just normal Action Grade, but $10.
Oh, and our TRU, all they had was a mess... But still pricing/shelving errors abounding. But even at $10, I don't really want a M5...

The South Hill Puyallup Target had three or four M3 Lees that were enthusiast grade in action grade boxes, along with all the extra goodies. I almost bought another but decided to save the $25.
This is the first time I have seen this. Is this a pretty rare occurance? I have heard of other cases but it doesn't seem to be the norm.

I ocasionally find the Enthusiast grade piece here and there. I got an Enthusiast grade Kannonenwagen, Tiger I and King Tiger from Target, and got the Enthusiast grade LAV, MLRS, and Apache Longbow from TRU. My Italian theater tan Stug IIIG is weathered quite well and almost seems like an Enthusiast grade vehicleolifant wrote:This is the first time I have seen this. Is this a pretty rare occurance? Germantown Maryland TRU has the 32X "Evie" P-47 & "Yellow 15" Focke Wulf 190, XD quad 50 trailer, 32X Camo howitzer, and a new paint scheme (S2?) 32X Jagdtiger. No Panzer 38's or Marders yet.

My TRU gets nothing but broken "Evie" Jugs.
I love P-47's and have wanted a bubble-top for ages and that is a sweet scheme but I swear everytime I go there is yet another one with the MG barrels on one wig all broke off, the pitot tube broken of along with a chunk of the leading edge or the dorsal antenna bent so bad it will crack if you try to fix it or busted off and rattling around the box. Sometimes it's one of the above, sometimes all on one plane.
Management checked it out, couldn't understand how it got broke in the box and then put the broken planes back on the shelf. They also can't tell if they have any more anywhere because the computer just shows they have more of the assortment, not the specific plane.
So I guess I have to order online or keep checking until they get an intact version.

I wish 21st would have always done what they're apparantly doing with the new 190F release, all the antennae's, pitot tubes, etc. are on a tree and you have to install yourself. Smart idea. Even the 1/18 jugs were plagued with broken guns and pitot's.

Hit the Silverdale WA TRU today still had about thirty jaddgtigers and some of the bubble top P-47s with the blue trim on it and some green P-51s not sure which one as I was not interested in it..Also finally found the two pack of the Dauntless and Japanese plane very nice looking.
On a side note I found the TOMTOM 3rd edition GPS that I have been looking EVERWHERE for at TRU of all places

Found the new 32X Marder III and Panzer 38t at the Germantown Maryland TRU. They also had the new "Evie" P-47's, the Fw-190 with red/yellow stripe on the tail, sets A & B of the 32X helmeted DAK figures, and the S2 Jagdtiger. All things considered, a pretty nice selection.
