Not just a rumor from bbi

Post by momaw nadon » Sat Oct 16, 2004 1:05 pm

I just got an e-mail from bbi and here is their P-51 Mustang:
http://www.blueboxtoys.com/bbi/eForce/4 ... /21414.jpg (51kb)
I think they are reading our posts and doing what we want. I remeber a post that we all wanted the P-51 redone from 21st C, because of the landing gear. When 21st C said they were, but we haven't heard anything more on it. In bbi's e-mail they went one step further and said it has, and I quote "working flaps, undercarriage, moveable surfaces and much, much more!" end quote.
I hope they do some of the other stuff we all wanted and not just redos of what 21st C has done. I think we'll have word on figures in the near future. I wonder if they will venture into the Vietnam era.

BBI P-51!!!

Post by tmanthegreat » Sat Oct 16, 2004 1:41 pm

Holy Crap!! Its for reals!! I'm drooling already! This will deffinitely be a must-have, since my toyish 21st P-51 looks so odd when compared to all the other realistic 21st aircraft. I think our chances of seeing the BBI P-51 within the next few months are extreamly good. I still consider the 21st remake to be a longshot. Now there is some serious competition!

I think this WWII line will cause me to start buying BBI stuff because I'm pretty impressed.

If the photo is accurate, I mean not a pre-production sample, or a dolled up pic, 21C just took a direct and possibly fatal hit.

That is beautiful, plain and simple!

I already drooled over this in another thread in here, but that little tidbit was worth slobering all over again.

I guess the question will be where? I hope these are somehow made available right of the shelf and not just on-line.
