These are (or were going to be) from Dusty Trail Toys and never made it out the door before they closed up shop apparently. Much appreciation goes to the anonymous donor of these images. ;)

I'm going to put them in the database, but since they've not been identified, I was hoping some of you could help me out if the uniforms or anything make sense. The only thing I know is that they they were going to be part of a Soldiers of Fortune line so while they might have formerly been part of a recognized force, they're mercenaries now.

If you want to help ID these guys, I've numbered them so just include the # in your reply.

Thanks and have fun! :D

Ok, this might help?

"Dusty Trail Toys is proud to announce the signing of a Toy Licensing Agreement with Soldier of Fortune. Coming Spring 2005 will be a full line of super detailed Soldier of Fortune action figures. The series will include MAC V SOG , 101st ABN " Iraqi Freedom " and Robert K. Brown himself, just to name a few."

Man, #2 and #7 are right up my alley.

I'm finding more and more, seeing these unproduced concepts from toy makers is absolutely depressing. Some cool pieces that never see the light of day.

Agreed... It would be interesting to see those get made...

I'd heard some things about DT's figures possibly getting picked up by another company... *wink wink nudge nudge* ;) We'll see.

#4 appears to be a member of the KSK - Kommando Spezialkräfte (Command Special Forces) with an H&K G3 (standard issue until replaced by the G36) and the Flecktarn camouflage.

#5 appears to be a Spetznaz due to the blue-white striped shirt and Spetznaz urban camo pants. Carrying an Ak-74 with GP-25 grenade launcher.

I figured #5 was an East German Olympian (female) from the 1980's.

OMG I've never seen this old post before

Awesome figures, wish they would have made them in large quantities to the market

To me they all look great and right to scale except for that oversized bulky Russian "Lundgren", figure # 5

#3 seems to be french. He has a FAMAS assault rifle and wears a camo suit as to be seen in Mali. Just the colours and camo flakes don't match exactly.
#6 has british desert camo throusers and an english fashion wool sweet-shirt.
#4: agree with you grunt1, seems to be german.
If it helps...
Thank you for showing these pics, sorry that they did'nt reach the market.
