Wow, I wish I'd even have some WW2 guys to buy. We have zip here. Only modern and the new modern are all gone. Just the old refresh of modern guys. Also I think we're on ZERO paratroopers too. Those went super fast. Kids must dig those or something because I didn't buy any and don't know many who were excited for them, but they seem to be gone here as well.

I hope we get more WW2 or NEW WW2 guys in. They were easily their best work IMO. The Germans in particular, but the GI's had excellent gear, and I'd buy more of both. I'd prefer seeing some new Paratroopers and Falschimjagers though, myself. :) FOV will have me by the wallet if they do those.

Now Hasbro, make us some Head Sculpt & Endor Uniform variations! The new Rebel Fleet Trooper gets the JJ Seal of Approval Though!

Thanks for the intel Stug. Haven't checked mines in the last few days, but their probably been hoarded by the Joe collectors by now, but I'll check my stores again anyways. I'm at least having some success with K-Mart's Unimax's FOV clearance sale instead, go figure.

Did a major Target hopping campaign yesterday. Didn't find any figs on clearance at any stores, probably all cleaned out on day one. All the vehicles I encountered were not reduced but I bought them anyways as I've been looking for them all over and can't find them and it seems like no one is waiting for them to be slashed down again.
I went to the Buena Park Target and got a desert camo Abrams, went to the Garden Grove Target behind the Anaheim Convention Center and bought a woodland camo Bradley, and also went to Cerritos to rescue a woodland camo Abrams.

Did a Target search this weekend. The FOV 1/18 vehicles were reduced but the only figures reduced were those off scale figures that no one seems to like. None of the FOV 1/18 figures were reduced.

The older FOV figures are $3.48 at certain Targets in the DFW area. I passed on them since I already have so many.

Yay, I finally found the figs! But its not the modern U.S. Army & Marines or WWII figs, instead its the Delta Forces & SEALs! They were all marked as $3.48 instead. I picked up 4 Deltas and 1 SEAL, also picked up three paratrooper Rangers for $3.98. I think the store made a mistake and marked the wrong batch but did anyone came across this too?

With the anouncement the Unimax will discontinue realeasing WWII 1:18 at retail, I decided I needed to stock up on fodder while I could still get it cheap, I went to 3 Targets and found one WWII German and no Americans. I still can't figure the logic of taking these out of retail, the figures have sold through very well as I see it. Does anyone see these figures warming the pegs in their area.

I went to a local Target at lunchtime today, no WWII figs but plenty of modern. This is great news for the mod fig collectors but not for me.
I know the 1:18th FOV / Brovo Team line will still be available online 8) I just hate paying the shipping....................

assault force

Went to TRU today and saw FOV's new lineup. Semi new packaging, new name (assault force) and new merch. No new tigers with zimm yet but it,s just a matter of time. No new WW2 figs yet just the modern but they were a little different including some seals in diving gear(nice) They did have the Sherman but it's just different paint, still nice.

Has anyone snapped a photo of the LAV? Or is there one on another thread?

I so wanted to like that new Assault Force LAV-25... It has that woodland paintscheme and the second opening hatch on the turret going for it. But then there is the lack of a rear compartment, the moulded-on jerry cans and other accessories, the overall lack of detail and I realized that my money was better spent elsewhere.

Thanks! I can definitely see that there are issues with this piece. Now to see if I can check one out in-person at TRU next week, assuming they've hit the shelves here.

They are not related to Unimax, they are by themselves as RHIP Toyz/Hooga Loo Toys. You can read the rest of the details over in this thread:

Yeah, Foxhole Toys only has the Bravo Team versions of the figures available on their website but a bit higher priced then the stores.
