Well, it's confirmed, it's out....and since times are slow, it deserves a sticky all it's own.

Discuss.

Posted this in another post but will put it here also. Found the PAK-40 at the Temecula, California TRU this morning. Had $29.99 on the tag on the shelf but it would not ring up when I checked out. I also bought the 1/32 FOV Stuart so the clerk rang up the PAK at $21.99 which is what the Stuart scanned at. Good deal.

So they're in California now? Way too far away for me at the moment, but at least there's hope

Not sure if someone else beat me to this or not but i grabbed some pics of the new finds at one of my local TRUs. The first three are from my cell so sorry they are so small. The others I took after I got home with my new toys. I love the Otto Wilndorff figure. He's top notch in my book.

Toyktdlgh, great find! That 251/22 looks cool. The Otto Wilndorff figure has a new camo pattern, I'm going to need a few of these ffgures.
Oh and thanks for the pics.

a new 1:32nd. Me-262A-2 "Red B" @ $9.99

yes i thought there was a new camo pattern on Otto's smock too. This one looks more accurate than the S1 version. Time to buy some Ottos.

Thanks toyktdlgh! I'll get that update and a bunch of others in tonight.

Are any other figures other than Otto (awesome btw) new or appear to have been "tweaked"?

Thanks for sharing these pics! The Hanomag PAK 40 looks great, but I think the new paint job of Otto is even more impressive. Wow! This figure looks fantastic!
But it must be hard to get a troop of Ottos with only one peg of figures. Btw. if I should try to translate Ottos Name 1:1, it would be Otto Wantsavillage. Still a really stupid german name for a great figure.
And again - it is spelled WeHrmacht, guys...

At least 21C is shipping something new and sales should keep TRU happy they made the decision to come back.

PaK-Track quirk ?

Post by MG-42 » Sun Jul 22, 2007 7:05 am

This is kind of quirky , a peculiar trait , or just a plain mistake but ,..

I noticed that the drivers side , rear view mirror , is placed on the passenger side of this vehicle instead. I have 3 of these and they're all like this ,.. and you can clearly see this in "rmoore456" , "toyktdlgh" , and "FieroDude's" pics.

It's like this on the "Stuka Zu Fuss" too , which I also have , but ( correct ) on that plain-jane "yellow" or "tan" Hanomag and all the older ones.

I'm not complaining , maybe I'm just being fussy.

I'm not so sure if this is such an easy fix either , cause the resin used in the plastic construction of the vehicle is difficult to work with especially when being repaired ( glued ) . I have'nt tried anything yet or removed any from their boxes.

... but hey ,.. considering the deal I got on these "PaK-Tracks" , BFD , right ?

i thought all german halftracks and armored cars had mirrors on both sides......many of them did anyway.

But they also often fell off or were dislodged so, yes, bfd. :)

(edit: maybe these vehicles were intended to be used in britain, after a successful operation sealion :) )

MG-42,
What TRU did you find your stuff at? Eastgate?

Has anyone(In KY, OH or IN) checked out the Kenwood TRU?

Or any other TRU in KY/OH/IN area?

I am headed up to Kings Island today with a TRU stop in Kenwood, unless someone has beat me (and the new stuff there) to it!

Is Eastgate cleaned out of 14.99 Pak40 Hanomags?
