Hmmm interesting. I may have to do a bit of recon at the 'ol TRU tomorrow. Most likely it will be dissapointing. Their handling of all the special Joe six packs last year was craptastic.

SH!%#!!!! Took the kids to swimming today, and figured there was nothing I needed to check TRU for. Well, I'll have to stop by Saturday.

I did some sleuthing and found an obscure reference made by JR about Avengers at a Tuscon AZ area Wal Mart a while back  Probably found the 21c stuff at a TRU in the vicinity... (Sorry to jump your response JR  )

Arizona would make sense for a first sighting as doesn't 21c have a distribution facility near there? Here's hoping they're in my area soon 8)

Thanks Razor.. :)

Agree on the stocking.. Seems like they do more of a timed national release. At least with Star Wars and what-not. Hopefully that means we'll all be holding our Paks very soon. 8)

Im in Southern AZ, i only saw 1/32 Stuarts.
the 1/32 planes consisted of the 262 and P51's

there were 2 cases of ONLY hanomag pak40's - wierd
and then two P51's.

these were sharing the pegs with G.I.joes, and the others were right
next to them on the shelf, followed by BBI and the cheap stuff. The Stuarts were on the very end, last on the "Military" shelf.

the Dday figs were on the peg next to the single carded Joe figures

i was gonna take a pic, but it wouldnt had been a good one.
Interestigly enough, they were the same prices as wallyworld.

That's good about the prices! It used to be that the TRU prices were actually cheaper than Wal Mart is today, but then the prices have gone up over the past few years. I'm going out to check my closest TRU this evening. Not sure if I'll find anything, but at least there's now stuff to look forward to :D

how could this be? If the pak 40 armed hanomag is out that would mean something new has arrived, and that's clearly not possible...is it?

JR,

Which AZ TRU? Phoenix or Tucson? If I remember, I think you're up by the Oracle TRU, no?

Even though I'm getting rid of a lot of XD because of space issues I MUST have that Pak40 Hanomag! That was the only vehicle out of the bunch that came out late last year that I wanted.Image

Well, we'll see what they have on Saturday

As a note on the Arizona stores in general. Lately, it hasn't been as good (or I don't get out as much). But, for years, I would find stuff days before it hit anywhere else.

I have a feeling that the poster made a mistake on the Pak 40 hanomag. are you sure it wasn't the hanomag with ramps on it. I'm going to go to a TRU today and see what i can find. i think the poster should take a pic anyways. proofs in the pudding.
