I'm thinking based on the store reports that the shangri la mustang is in a different assortment, and the bullfrog scheme is coming with the limited edition 262 repaint, but that's me speculating. which means some other secret scheme or plane will end up popping up as well...

I love the new releases. My only complaint is with the Otto Wilndorff figure. He actually has his mouth open, but they just wiped flesh colors over it so you can hardly tell. The hardened "snarl" that the S1 figure had really added character.Guess it's time to break out the brushes. :?

The case pack is 4 Pak Hanomags, 12 figures 4 of each(the 2 DAK and the new infantryman/SS). The P51 Bullfrog and Me 262 come together in a box of 2.

Close, but no cigar!

Had a chance to stop in the TRU in Syracuse (Clay) NY today. There were the tiny 21C planes and the 1:48 tanks (both too dinky to interest me) on the pegs, but no other 21C items. I kept scanning the shelves in disbelief - where was my PAK 40 Hanomag???

The good new is that things are starting to hit in the Northeast US!

  This is not good news! I went back to one of the TRU I was at yesterday, this time with the sku numbers. I asked if these products were in....... "Well we had 4 ( Pak-40 Hano) and they were sold and the figures also sold" I've been to this TRU 4 times since Sat. and I never saw anything from 21st. There isn't a space or spot for them, I don't think they ever made out to the floor. I think somebody in the stockroom got em first.
Think we're going to start seeing them on ebay soon.

The TRU in Fresno finally got the 21c stuff in :D Its a little late compared to other TRUs in north and south of my area, but at least my town wasn't skipped out! They had everything except the 32x planes.

Went to two of the four Kansas City metro TRU's today. The manager at one said she hadn't heard of 21st Century toys but that I should check back in the next ONE TO TWO MONTHS !!! The other store had the little planes from 21st so there may be some hope there. That store should have a delivery next week. Better be some 21st Century stuff on that truck.

The three I got in Baton Rouge didnt have any tags or anything on the shelves for the halftracks or figures. The figures were in the computer but not the halftrack. They sold them to me for $19.99 each with 15% off the total. Not to bad...for a change.

I've been to 3 different TRUs in the past week and I haven't seen any 21st century stuff yet. Looks like I will continue to wait :(

I think many TRUs may have put the 21c stuff out earlier than intended, hence all the reports of the prices not being in the computer systems and so on. Other TRUs may be waiting until they have the items properly inventoried before getting them out on the shelves, and hence the delays.

Its too bad that alot of boardmembers still haven't found the items yet, but I think the fact still stands that TRU's distribution has proven to be FAR better than Wal Mart's. The 21c products have gotten good coverage at TRUs from the West coast to the Midwest in about a week from the first sighting. On the other hand, there's still a bunch of new 21c items that I'm waiting for to come west from the other part of the country, and its been a month and longer!

Agree, better than WM's controlled chaos approach.. :)

This probably all the result of the TRU distribution folks being the same crew that planned the airborne landings at D-Day.. lol :)

As far as TRU distribution goes here in the East, I hope it gets better. The only things I've seen were some of the small aircraft 1:144 and some 1:48 tanks and not that many.

Joplin TRU nada. Springfield TRU only have 2 new 1/144 dogfight sets. No place set aside for larger 21st items unless they do some major moving around.

Re: normandy's post "There isn't a space or spot for them"...I hit the Holbrook & Brentwood TRU's, got nothing to show for it, it didn't appear they had been stocked yet (no empty pegs, no price stickers on shelves, etc.)...the stock boy at the Holbrook store said he hadn't seen any 21CT stuff, but would he know it if he saw it...? Will try again late next week, they say a watched pot never boils (they haven't heard that an unwatched pot gets scalped on e-bay)... :(
