MandaloreSC, the coat appears to be the same color but the armbands are a slightly different green. I'll post more pics soon.

Oh, I guess TRU heard our message about not having any OpFor in their stores. But wow did they go crazy...

A Norman prince, perhaps...

Re: anyone in the L.I. / N.Y.C. area...thanx for your special effort, Normandy, you're a prince! I struck out today at the Brentwood store, but I still have a good feeling about TRU getting back in the game...we just won't raise our expectations too high, will we...?

I always found with bbi at TRU it takes 2 full weeks for the products to roll all the way east. I expect the same here.

That said I think it is safe to say this is the end of bbi at TRU. I couldn't imagine they would go from none of this stuff to Joes, 21C & bbi. Thank goodness Target is now in the mix. Hopefully they will pick up our beloved WWII.

Thanks very much for posting all these pics and infos, grunt1!
I'm going to visit New York in August. It's good to know what is available at TRU, so I can look for it.
I think these new versions of the german soldierd look really great. It's strange right now that there aren't any US troopers or planes, but that's okay for me because I'm a collector of armor anyway.
And again - it is spelled WeHrmacht, guys...

Great pics! Since all of this news about TRU has come out, I am going to hit two TRU here in the Dallas area at lunch today and see if any of these are here in Texas yet!

Well, when to two different TRU here and nothing. No new 21st items at either here in Dallas. Looks like the west coast and upper midwest TRU are getting the load!

Same here. I was talking to a TRU manager today who also collects 21st stuff, SW and GI Joe and he said people have been coming in and asking all week but that they couldn't get any answers from higher up. He said it seems we are always last to get new stuff which I agree with 100%. :? :(

Nothing here in Central N.J. I'm not worried because TRU always comes thru. As usual, it looks like the East Coast will be the last to get the new goods. The repainted figures look great! I think it's time to return all the carded sunburned figures back to W.M.

Mine went up on Ebay except for a few that were normally colored. The new guys look much better. 21st must have bought them some sunscreen lotion! :P

I figure I will just weather the uniforms a bit more, maybe add some wear and tear, and we can call the new version the "new recruits" and the sunburned looking ones the vets. Kind of a "6 months later" situation...

Nope, haven't seen the Shangri La plane. I just opened my "Bullfrog" P-51 and like the scheme as well - to me it didn't need weathering! Sort of an interesting change from the flashy schemes of the S1 & S2 P-51s. I guess the new stuff is in Northern California as well

The TRUs in my town still have not recieved (or at least put out) anything besides the three 32x Sherman Fireflys, which strikes me as being odd for a town of half-a-million. Its a moot point, however, as I found what I was looking for elsewhere 8)

I wonder if 21st will ever consider selling the ground crew seperate from their Legends releases? Speaking of the Legends releases has anyone heard anything yet about a release date for their Boyington Corsair re-issue? My current project I'm working on with BBD sure could use some ground crew. If they did sell them seperately, the ground crew, I would scramble to get those figs.
