* Besides , the new M-16 w/ the North African paint scheme I just found here , looks just as cool 8) , as shown in all the recent pics that's been posted.

* I left a damaged one in box , behind. * :lol:

.... Oh , picked up a new paint-scheme of the 32x Jagdtiger , too.

Was at TRU tonight - nothing new - but was speaking with a manager who asked if I needed any help - I asked about new 21st century items etc and she said "we will be really expanding the ultimate soldier and Gijoe" - the store already has a whole aisle devoted to BBI, 21st and the cheaper military stuff.....

WOW! To hear that TRU is devoting alot of shelf space for 21st and BBI products sounds promising. :D

Picked up M16 S2 at the closest TRU. Did not see any sign of the quad trailer or S2 pak cannon.

The buckhead TRU has the new m16 and pak 40 repaint, alpharetta has the camo pak 40. One of our other friends said he saw the quad 50 trailer at a TRU in the lawrenceville or duluth area- I also frequent the TRU at Kennesaw mtn

TRU report

Post by General Blasto » Sun Nov 25, 2007 3:32 am

Nothing new around here other than the new VN soldiers.
The West Oaks mall had 2 hooks full of them on Friday. I got my 2 S@ Pk40s over by FL mall a couple weeks ago now. Haven't been up to Altimonte Springs store in a while, but last time there, all they had was the little stuff. One note to add, there is a group or two of the Evil bay horders/sellers that likes to hang out around the West Oaks mall store. They get there usually around 4-5AM and hang out until opening, where they buy out ALL the new SW and 21st C items. One man was reported to have pushed a child down and later took the kids SW item he had in his hand. TRU said they 8 balled this guy from their store, but I'm sure he still goes there. The police should have been called, and the man taken away for battery on a child  Da General

Ah, yes. We used to see this bottom-feeder behavior with Hot Wheels and flea market scum, back in the day. A little sugar in their gas tank does wonders!

I was going to stop in the West Oaks TRU this Wednesday on my way to Orlando for a wedding, but I guess I won't now. Especially if it will endanger my two little ones. WTF?

found the VN figs today. Are there only 4 available right now? I found Good, Sharples, Reyes, and Jackson. They had at least 3 of each guy, so I am guessing it was a full case of 12.

Stopped at TRU after work last night, in the hopes that 21st is on track with the $90 F4 in time for Christmas, as promised. As always, they are living up to expectations.

ok found the VN figures - 3 of each at the Cobb Pkw TRU today - picked up 2 of them and a DAK figure - no hellcat - or anything vehicle/plane wise - VN figures look great - im not crazy about them - the weapons look horrible and are all bent in the package - but id rather pay 4.99 for them now then wish Id bought them and pay 5.00 for shipping....

NOT 21ST

Post by normandy » Sat Dec 01, 2007 8:17 am

I was at TRU on Friday and found some Golden Compass figures, there from the new movie coming out soon. These figs seem to be 1:18th and some could be used as civilians.
I've posted some links in the Off Topic section if any one is interested.

I found the new Vietnam guys, Camo Pak 40 and Quad trailer her in Central N.J. I also found the BBI figures that were $.70. It's a good thing that I checked the price before I went to the register. They were full price.  I guess that I missed the boat on that one! Oh well!

Found a almost complete case of VN figs yesterday. It was strange. It contained one each of the 3 white VN fig and the rest of the box was the black VN fig. I would have thought they would fill up a case equally of figs.

I also found the new M16 Camo. We went there just to kill some time and look around and never dreamed we walk out with new stuff. The M16 in Camo looks really great. I like the pattern on the halftrack it looks different and cool!
