What! Still no floor pan in the HUMVEE? Is that really "AS REAL AS IT GETS". Reminds me of the joke:
A guy sees a sign in s Steak Grill Restaurant that says "All you can eat for $8.95". He goes in and orders a sirloin steak, finishes it and orders another. The guy thinks he hears the cook ask him "That's all you can eat for $8.95?" The guy says "Yes, and keep'em coming". The cooks leans down into the guy's face and says "You misunderstood, That IS all you can eat for $8.95."

Fellas,

Dirk sent me some pictures of his bbi Kiowa. Check them out in the Miscellanious folder. Thanks Dirk! Nice helicopter!

Cool! I just found Kiowas in the Dover TRU! Picked up two of them. Their detail is light years ahead of the little bird with the detailed engine bay. I'm impressed!

Guys,
Anyone have a profile pic of the Kiowa? There is a skull marking that I'm hoping is accurate. I suspect it is but can't find a reference. Thanks!

I've been searching, but no luck so far on a picture. From what I have found so far, I pretty certain it is from "D" Troop, 1st Squadron, 7th Cav out of Fort Hood. They use a skull and crossed sabres as their insignia........

Wow! Kudos to BBI for making such an accurate product - and I wasn't even concerned that the markings on the Kiowa came from a real machine. Thnaks Digger for the recon.

Got both the super humvee and kiowa today. Both are sharp! The super humvee is unpainted plastic again and the dumb army serial numbers on the hood but otherwise i like it alot. Does anyone have a picture of one of these in action with recoiless rifle? I'd like to see how the crew arranged themselves. What kind of hat is the figure that comes with the humvee wearing?

The Kiowa is a bargain at it's retail price. Really good looking piece. Very pleased with it. I can't believe that BBI is still putting the 'do not put hand in rotating blade' warning on each of the main rotor blades. A new born infant couldn't hurt themself in those things when they're spinning..

If you put razorblades on it..............

I like it myself, especially the engine bay.

The Kiowa sort of had to grow on me. I thought it was an awesome helo form the moment I saw it in TRU. It hangs fro the ceiling in my apartment at school.
