Greatly prefer a new tank or a modification using the Panther or Mark IV chassis over more repaints... :?

Have a winter panther and an RC Mk IV. Need a little variety on both models.

And if 21st really wants to do a Panther repaint that makes me happy, paint the turret right off, paint up the hull to hold the main gun, and paint a "Jagd" onto the front end of the name!

Although I have the Winter Panther, S1 Panther, S1 Panzer IV (with custom skirts) and an RC Panzer, I'd probably get one of each if they came my way and looked good. Both are nice tanks :D

I voted yes. There are a lot of interesting paint jobs for both of these tanks out there.

For the panther simply just re-release the ambush scheme they'd sell a ton that way, and if they want to protect the originality of the earlier release then they could use a different set of turret numbers!

Both Panther and Panzer IV don't belong to my favorite XD tanks. The Panzer IV has excellent details, but not a removable tower. I think the Panther is less detailed than the Panzer IV and - same problem, turret isn't removable. I don't like to think about the fact that the turret of the new Königstiger will also not be removable. :(
I think the Tiger was the best XD Tank so far. But I would buy some new repaints of the Panther and Panzer IV if they are realistic and cool looking. There were so many kinds of cool camos on these tanks, I can't believe that 21st hasn't released some more.
And again - it is spelled WeHrmacht, guys...

What if one of the retailers ordered one tank to be sold at the $40 price point. Would we rather it was a Panther repaint or the King Tiger?

new is good. You may pay through the nose for them, but you can still get a 1/18 Panther on e-bay. Doesn't work so well with the King Tiger.
