Post by tko211 » Fri Jun 15, 2007 3:53 pm

The wait is over! looks like we fans now have 2 stores to shop. Wal-Mart and now TRU! This was the distribution news I was hoping to hear back in mid spring.

Glad to be back.

Great news! I have a bad feeling about the German stuff though. :?

Oh well as long as my TRU does a better job stocking 21st stuff than it does with BBI and Star Wars I'll be happy.

This is great news. Hoefully, 21C will also be on th TRU website as well. However, most likely, there will be someone to complain.

That's good news. :P

(Even though it's alot harder to get a "big truck" in a TRU parking lot than a WM lot.)

TKO,

Can you give us a better idea when things will show up? Any day now? Or more late summer/early fall?

I am looking into that question as we speak. Here is what I know. 21st wanted to delay the news till the deal was concrete, and then 21st wanted to wait to announce once the first order had shipped... So I know that the deal is concrete. What I don't know yet, is if this is the signal that the first orders have already shipped or are about to ship to TRU.

I suspect that we will be seeing product much sooner than later! Before everyone starts filling up the gas tanks and plotting new routes into GPS. Let me ask the question. Again, I do suspect that the answer will be that the first order has shipped...

I can't wait to add TRU to my route!

As always, thanks for the inside info TKO! I hope we will see a good selection of 32x aircraft and armor and of course XD! I think TRU is the ideal place to sell the big 1:18 planes and vehicles since they already sell all kinds of large toys there. :D

Excellent news Zach!

I guess the Merrill’s Marauders was a successful trial run.

There is a TRU 3 minutes from my home and many more in my AO.

Now I know that if a 21st item is shipped to TRU it WILL show in my neighborhood. No more east coast vs. west coast crap with Wal-Mart.

Hurray!

Excellent news!
One hundred and fifty three - 1:18 scale aircraft on the ceiling looks  damn good!

Plenty of room in the Mishawaka lot, but Cleveland/Brick Road and Grape Road is a b**ch.

This is good news. With 6 Walmarts in my AO wich are all big let downs. This could be something to look forward to. The sun will rise tomorrow . There is light at the end of the tunnel. Yes Virginia there is a Santa. Bad Cat is having a sale. Paris Hilton is going back to jail,
Kirk Douglas : Mine hit the ground first

Without a doubt. There isn't even a toll road exit for a couple miles. Last time I was down there, some cop followed for a mile because I broke the speed limit (by about 40 mph) between TRU and the UP mall. If you want a TRU closer to an exit, try K-zoo. WB on I-94 take the Westnedge exit and it's about 3/4 mile (if that) on the left--there is a light. There shouldbe enough room to turn a rig around easily, and a light to get you back to 94.E (94W is a LH pain, though, that usually means smoking tires in a performance car, although oncoming traffic usually yields to the armored Isuzu).

Great news!! I hope TRUs distrubution pattern will be bettern that Wal Mart's and that this stuff will get more evenly distributed. I wonder what will show up first. Probably stuff we've already seen at WM, but here's hoping for something new :D

I am quite intrigued and pleased by the recent announcements of the changes in distribution patterns both with 21c at TRU and BBI at Target. This can only help us

Great news!!! I always felt the distribution at TRU was much better than at WM. Here's hoping that the King Tiger and 88 are available at TRU. :D

I wonder if TRU will have the same price, or slightly more than Walmart. But, if TRU has better distribution that Walmart (which is what I expect), I would gladly pay a few dollars more.
