Keeping this one secret for the last 4 months has been KILLING me! I was so relieved to find out that it was going to be announced on the flyer! I knew it just wasn't going to be be back in time for the show to see her in plastic yet. So the flyer announcement had to do in this case. I was just so happy to see that it was really being made in 1:18! Now that we have DAK figs I am hoping that we will see a version in tan paint too!

Oh yeah! The real crazy thing is this. Toy Fair is not the only platform for the 2007 news. 21st is actually sitting on some ultra cool stuff not even mentioned yet!

...and I was hoping to get out of this hobby this year! I'm deffinitely down for that 88 and the Kingtiger! It will be awesome if the 88 comes with accessories like the Pak-40 and if the King Tiger has an interior

I printed off the flyer & keep staring at it. I just keep checking it says 1/18 & its not some cruel joke or mistake as I have looked at the King Tiger & 88 in the 1:32 scale so many times, they look just like those. I have wished for these conversions to 1/18 for years & now it seems its happened. Until I see these in person I guess I will not appreciate the 'wow' factor.

To us devout airplane nuts, an "88" is a Ju-88 Luftwaffe Bomber/Fighter.

Good for you armor guys, congrats.

Some news from our staff at 21st Century says that the King Tiger's aiming for Fall and the 88's coming right around the corner, however a "crew" for it is holding it up... Having to do with where it falls into price ranges that retail wants it to meet and whatnot.

Also the Range Finder figure was MADE for the 88 definitely, not the PAK 40. :)

Good news from 21st this Toy Fair...

Also my buddy said how especially nice the BBI people there were... Very kind, very happy to talk to media. At that show, the media gets a blow-off from some companies so that was a nice thing to see from them.
