Any possibilities for 1/18 US Civil War

Post by 75th Ranger » Fri Jan 19, 2007 6:30 pm

i was wondering if there is any possibilities for any 1/18 US Civil War items, figures and such. For example; 1/18 Union & Confederate Soldier figures, Artillery pieces, horses, wagons, and little barricades.

What do you guys think?

BBI is supposed to have a US Civil War line coming out this year, if it's still a go. It's in the Warriors of the World range and are essentially 1/18 scale. Were shown early last year i think. Not articulated but very nice sculpts and they also had some cannon to boot.

They came out with Roman soldiers, why not The American Civil War?

I still don't get the Roman Soldier releases...I'd LOVE to see the Civil War stuff come out-but would be disappointed if there is no articulation...

Personally, I really enjoy the bbi Romans and would definitely go for the Civil War line if they release it.

i have many of the knight and roman figures and they are all excellent. The lack of articulation is unfortunate but would not discourage me at all from future purchases in this line.

Hopefully after Civil War we might see Napleonic, WWI....the possibilities are awesome.

I'm surprised no one has done a Civil War line already. Isn't there quite a diehard Civil War following who'd be interested in these? I know I'd love to see a series. I have a few non-articulated plastic ones. They are a little small, but I just keep them away for the XD crew

Any expantion of the 1/18TH line is a good one. We have come a long way since 2000. Continued interest might prompt other countries to get into the XD
game.

No kidding. That would be great. You can't tell me there wouldn't be a huge market for WW 1 planes and figures. You could even do some vehicles. Couple of tanks, some arty., etc. I'm into the FPS games like MOHAA and COD, wish they would make a WW1 FPS. Gimme a Lewis gun! lol

I'd be interested ONLY IF they are articulated.

yes, articualtion is a must, how welse are you going to place them on their horses....

I want 1/18 Civil War.....imagine the unit size was companies and brigade two line ranks by divisions...you know....

just to make a line company, 21st would sell a lot of regular infantry 1/18 civil war grunt figures....
