I opened my Stuka Zu Fuss tonight and it is a GREAT piece!!! Although I have to say that it was probably the most complicated vehicle I have ever had to get out of the packaging, but 30 minutes later, she's out and she's a beaut!!!!!!

Nice job with the Pak 40 flpickupman! I'm really liking the look of that Panzerbuchse AT gun and shield. This version has certainly grown on me.
Btw, don't know if anybody noticed the inspiration for this scheme :

Yup, that's the box for the Dragon 1/35 kit I believe.MandaloreSC wrote:You are right, digger. From what is this picture? A model kit box?

I would think the 4 new ones come in 1 box together. I think in a few months these will be sitting like the jeeps and humvees. I remember running around to get these as well, now collecting dust.
I really like the stukas' paint scheme.
One bit of cost cutting I noticed was the original #13 from 2001 had slits and a piece of clear plastic for the vision ports. The new ones are molded solid
At least the numbers are different!

I went to a few local WMs today. The spaces XD stuff occupied on the shelf are now full of 32x vehicles and aircraft. Each store has tons of them. On the other hand there are just a few XD figures that have been there for weeks or months. They even moved the dusty Luftwaffe F-104s and RC M113s and PZIVs to another aisle. I have a bad feeling that my area WMs are phasing out XD completly, they just don't get any new stock in. Maybe 32x is more profitable, I don't know.
I had the skus printed out but nobody could take the time to help me, I got passed around to a supervisor who told me without even trying that they weren't compatible with her system (lol) and she had to go to a meeting. I waved at her when I saw her in another aisle five minutes later.

I was fooling around with the halftrack and the 75mm ammo crates for the PaK last night, and stumbled across a good way of arranging the crates when towing the PaK.
One of the nice things about the arrangement is that you can still open the crates when stored in this manner.

You are welcome. A point of note; you want to place the crate behind the seats before placing the other two in the troop compartment. If you try it the other way around, the last crate won't fit behind the seats.immeww2 wrote:Looks like a perfect fit. Thanks for sharing.

This afternoon I visited a sixth area WM with no success. The woman working toys said she doubts anything new will come in. I do to, they still had Sahara and S1 BoB figures on the pegs!
Since the stores within of twenty miles of me get little if any XD its looking like I'm going to have to pay a lot more than retail at one of online shops if I want these toys. Cheapest I've seen em is $37 a piece before shipping at The Motorpool. Anyone know of any cheaper?
