"Yes honey, we do have a whole bunch of halftracks already.. But no, this is a Scout Car.. See.. it has wheels in the back... not tracks.. Honey.. Honey.. Honey?? "

Yeah, just checked.

I'm digging it. Now, what they really need to do is start hammering out release timeframes.

"Later this year" doesn't count.

   I guess I should be happy. There was just so much hype at the begining of the summer and no new platorms just remakes. Another thing is that I was part of the way done making a this variant hanomag using the main gun of a Panzer IV RC :( On the bright side I can make something else now

hanomag

Cool piece.

For me the summer was made with the announcement of figures. If it were just 6 it would have been cool, 12 awesome, but 18 changes everything. I really don't care what else we see after that.

Oh and why doesn't later this year count as a time frame? Remember how exact dates lead to discontent? Let's just be happy with any news please, at least it gives us something to talk about..

as predicted. Looks very nice. Strange they say this will be the last Hanomag variant. There are certainly several other possible ones that would be good sellers too. Perhaps they just mean that's it for now.

Now, where's the King Tiger? :x

That's cool! We get a Hannomag with a cannon that doesn't come with bridge-laying equipment. I'd get this one and even choose it ove the the Stuka zu Fuss hannomag if I had the choice. The US M-16, however, is the coolest halftrack remake that 21c has yet announced, IMHO.

Hanomag Sdkfz. 251/22

Post by MG-42 » Sat Aug 26, 2006 11:24 pm

I knew it would only be a matter of time before 21st. introduced this 251/22 variant in their Hanomag line-up after the anticipated and surprise introduction of the infamous Pak-40 field piece in 1:18. ... 8) ... This is just way too cool beyond words. Thank you 21st.Century Toys ! ... :P

THE LAST MAJOR VARIANT OF THE SDKFZ251, RESULTED FROM A PERSONAL ORDER BY HITLER THAT ALL SUITABLE TYPES OF VEHICLES WERE TO BE USED TO MOUNT ANTI-TANK GUNS. VEHICLES WERE CONVERTED IN LATE 1944- EARLY 1945.

Your also absolutly right. Hitler did, even in his craziness, understand that in the defense the Reich found themselves in that AT was a priority. One of the mose bizarre projects was sending HitlerJunge againest Russian amoured hoards in light training aircraft armed with just panzerfaust.
