Kay-Bee Toys B&M stores selling- Ultimate Soldier

Post by Razor17019 » Wed Jul 19, 2006 8:19 pm

Guys,
Great news. I was at my local mall today and wondered into Kay-Bee Toy store. I was in the GI Joe area and looked up on a shelf and there was 4 1/32 scale Ultimate Soldier planes!!! I had to look twice to see if was having some kind of spell. I grabbed one off the shelf and ran up to the clerk. I asked her how long they had carried this brand of plane.
She said that they were just getting them in for Christmas. I asked about 1/18 planes and figures. She said that they got a truck every 2 weeks and she was told more stuff was coming (she did not know if there were more Ultimate Soldier stuff, just "army" stuff). I noticed the 1/32 plane was 17.99 where it usually is 14.99 @ WM. So, a might higher, but a new source to buy from is always welcomed!
I will update here if I see anymore in 1/18 scale...

This has been the case for some time now - the S2 versions of a bunch of 1:32 armor was initially spotted at KB, as were the 1:144 S2.
Good news in general although if/when they get 1:18 is what matters to me.

Last fall K-B had 1/6 Command Cars, on sale, at a very reasonable $75.
I bought three, but hey, that's me. 8)

My KB has had 1/32 planes and tanks for a while now, as well. Sure, they are a couple bucks more then WM, but for that hard-to-find item that WM never seems to have, it's gotta be better then evil-Bay. :D

TTT, excellent buy.

There is a KB store in Lakeforest Mall near me in Gaithersburg Maryland, but they had nothing whatsoever from 21st, I mean zilch, nada. All they had was some very cheezy stuff from PTE, not even worth mentioning. Maybe this news bodes well for the future at my local KB, we shall see.
