Cobra King First in Bastogne and Classy Peg

Post by pickelhaube » Tue Dec 22, 2020 4:34 pm

A couple of Christmas consignments.
I had stencils made for First in Bastogne lettering along with stars.
Small stenciling was done with 1/16 decals.
Duck bills and vison block cages are from Grunt !!

Fantastic work, Picklehaube! The stencils look great and it’s got the perfect amount of weathering 8)

Great job on these two Shermans Matthew. I like the look
and as Tman said, the weathering is perfect.

Matthew I think it looks a little bright (green). I would say it might
look better more a coke bottle green.

Hey Jon , I agree but they do not make a translucent that color.

Unless you know of one.

Matthew, I've been checking colored plexiglass and acrylic sheets, nothing so far.
Some time ago I framed a picture with plexi for safety reasons, it was clear but
definitely had that coke bottle green look and changed the look of the picture. :?
I'll keep checking!
