Thats pretty cool! I understand not wanting to modify it for sentimential purposes, but you should repaint it to resemble a C-47. Then put some XD US paratroopers flying out the door!

Thats one awesome Eagle Scout Project!
...and I only built bat boxes for the local zoo for my project. Wish your son good luck. Being an Eagle Scout can open alot of doors! I got mine 8 years ago, and among other honors recieved before and after, it remains the one of which I am most proud.
