Any Interest In The M-36 Jackson ?

Post by pickelhaube » Tue Nov 13, 2018 10:40 am

Guys,

Things are not going well with my real job .

The phone has not rang for about 2 months now.

I am not sure what is going on because now is historically our busiest time of year.

So the money that I have been making on my toys is what is paying the bills.

T-bird is one hell of a guystand up guy and has given me some front money for some future exciting projects .

But I need to get the HIND done first in order to start those projects.

The problem is this . I need money to pay the bills.

So I have bumped the HIND because if I am working on that project money is not coming in the house hold.

I have been making protoypes and a few models for some boat builders here in town and an Ironclad for a museum.

I think that I could make up the Jackson in a few days and I am remaking the molds for the M-10 now.

Hopefully that will bring in some money.

I will consider any "one of " if you guys want to pay for it.

I think the Jackson would be a good project if people would want it.

Contact me if you do want a "one of " but be aware that it very well will be pricey.

Anybody in on the Jackson ?

Are you making a completely new hull or just some changes to the addons to the upper hull? I would prefer you leave off the armored cover over the turret opening. Most of the photo also show the 90mm without the later muzzle brack. The WWII version did not have the bow MG. That was added to the M36 given to the South Koreans.

I am also interested in an M-36 Jackson of WWII vintage, not the Korean War version. Wasn't this turret placed onto a production line M4 Sherman at first? I'll have to check into this.

The standard M-36 used the M-10 top hull which I make.

The M-36B1 used the late model M4A3 . It will be correct on the BBI Sherman.

The FOV Sherman is an early model M4A3 it needs to have the glacias redone . I also made that short kit for the T-23 project.

Matthew, I would be very interested in the Glacis kit and the Turret.
