Marder III kit project

Post by Aracula » Tue Jun 19, 2018 4:58 am

I am working on building the Marder III kit for any who might be interested. Would like to see how many people might be interested in obtaining one. If anyone is interested in helping fund this project also please let me know as it is not cheap to build these. It will be like this one.

I think you can count me in. But a price range for a kit would be interesting for the final decision.

Think the kit could be kept around 250 to 275 a kit on price range.

Aracula, I'd be interested in this kit.
Gotta be a coincidence, I just started on my second of your Sturmgeschütz IV kits. :salute:

I was just thinking if you do this Marder III kit, you would have the base for a Hetzer. :)

I have the tracks and wheels already for the Hetzer
Kirk Douglas : Mine hit the ground first
John Wayne : Mine was taller

 well then, we seem to be on our way to a summer of armor...Aracula's Marder
and a Pickelhaube Hetzer. :D
I know this all takes time, design, prototype, molds and casting but it all sounds good.
Oh and Grunt (Shapeways) offers a 1:18 German Panzer 38t. All good news! :salute:

Aracula, this looks like it would be a great kit.

The Hetzer was actually based on the 38 design, but didn't use the same parts. The hull was widened and lengthened.

I'd be into an M version as well
