Fun with some PVC (ok, and some wood and spare parts too)

Post by tpa05 » Sun Mar 11, 2018 9:29 pm

Hey guys,

Found some pics of a couple of aircraft I built for my son years ago. Most of it is made from PVC pipe and plastic sheeting. I thought these were lost in the Photobucket abyss but thankfully the one time I did a backup they were included. And yes, I know, they don't look like anything resembling real aircraft but note these were built as toys and so that's what they are.

I wish I had those to play with when I was a kid.

Ok, some vehicles that were built at the same time felt left out and so fair is fair and I included them as well. And yes, I know, these don't necessarily resemble any actual vehicles being used but were built based, in part, from a time I worked in South Africa. I remember exiting a Rugby Match and seeing parked outside the biggest armored vehicle I'd ever seen. I just looked and stared at it for a while and years later used this to build some vehicles for my son.

Note, you'll notice a lot if it is just spare pieces from not only other 1:18 figures/vehicles but airplanes as well!
