This looks really, really tempting. $250 is a good chunk of change, but considering the vehicle is fully detailed inside and out, it looks to be a good price... I’ve got the rare Galoob Action Fleet 1/64 scaled Aliens APC from the 1990s which is a nice and well-detailed toy, but a 1/18 scale model would be amazing :D

Its date keeps getting pushed back... Not sure this one is gonna happen but the prototypes are amazing of it. Lighted displays and stuff. I plunked down immediately for it, but alas its not getting the support I think it'll need.

I have a feeling they're (Hiya) hoping their Predator or other figures help financially back the APC.

The Power Loader is awesome. A tad fragile but simply awesome. Looks great in a Star Wars dio too, but don't tell any diehard Aliens fans I said that. :P

I put down immediately for it as well...that was over a year ago I think. I hope it happens, I am in the middle of doing a 1/18 dropship and need the APC to accompany it!! The 1/18 HCG APC is running $600 to $900 on line right now...sheesh.

Thanks....a full unfinished basement provides a nice workspace and display area. Hoping to make some progress on the Dropship in the next few weeks. I want to finish before the APC is delivered. (fingers crossed there are no more delays).

Correct, November was what I'd heard too... Just in time to kill my CC limit in the build up to Christmas haha. Oh well, I've bought worse things that screwed my credit limit up when I was wanting to do some shopping, haha.

It has been fun and challenging indeed. I have scoured the internet for good photos and reference material. But since it is a concept vehicle from a movie the reference pics I have found are limited. It has some difficult angles to re-produce so I purchased the small model from Neca as a better reference for the overall shape.

Progress is slow but hey it's progress. Still a lot of shaping and filling the gaps on the rough pieces.

.......and still waiting on the APC.

Well I heard a few weeks ago the HIYA Aliens APC were on the water. Just received notification from BBTS that it has shipped!! I really wasn't optimistic this would happen so I am pumped. Anyone else have it on order?
