These sites make money on selling your personal information to other advertisers.

I forgot to mention that the code they listed is about privacy policies, and has nothing to do with requiring them to get people's birth dates and such. They are trying to use it as a pro for their obtaining information vs what it was meant for, a con against privacy information being loosely handled.

I doubt they are selling it. They can use that in identity theft.

I have witnessed Ukrainians steal over 500k from a company using keylogging and remote control software. It was too bad the company foolishly didn't secure themselves, given the amount of money they handled on a regular basis. Live and learn I guess.

These scams buy merch and use your info to verify Paypal, sticking you with the credit hit, then sell said merch for real cheap. Someone needs to make a bot tht spams these sites with bogus info.

They have Av software that tells you whenever any program initiates. Best defense.
