Hey guys,
I made some Sherman tank towing shackles or clevis hooks on request from some folks in the 1:16th crowd. It was a surprise to me that the various Shermans from Heng Long, etc didn't come with them by default. They also indicated that even if they had shackles that they were likely to be ripped off when driving the tanks around so spares were useful.

Anyway, I was looking at my 1:18 tanks from FoV, 21C and BBI. None of them came with shackles either. Is it worth making these in 18 scale?
If so, would option would you want:
A> drill holes in my tank and use working shackles you could attach with machine screws
B> don't drill holes in my tank and use "mock" ones that would just slip on and look proper
Also, would the style above work or would a different style be more appropriate?
I only did the horse-shoe version so far which I am calling "Style I" (left).
Style I - Horseshoe (left) vs Style II - Straight Loop (right)
Style III - T-Style

I just did this Bosch lamp, would it work? My thought was you could just drill a small hole in the existing mount on the Panzer IV and insert this one.
I'm hoping that 4 of these would be about $10 in Shapeways WSF. They would look a bit more smooth in Shapeways FUD (Frosted Ultra Detail) so I'll add that as an option too.
If these are not good or too expensive, the 251's came with the Bosch lamps and could be cast in resin. I think this new ones looks a lot better with the bolts, handle and some of the other details I added but the one from 21C will do in a pinch.
