Input on some 21st century figures

Post by Aracula » Thu Mar 02, 2017 3:41 pm

I got these a long time ago and was wondering what you guys thought they might be. I was thinking just a run that was unfinished but wanted to see what others thought.

Look like test shots to me.

I agree with YT. Very cool figures for a 21st Century Toys collector.
How did you come find these?

Got them off a guy from California a long time ago. Was able to purchase 14 of them. Wonder how you could get a value on something like these.

I got a prototype set probably from the same guy a long time ago. They had all kinds of prototypes and test run figures and vehicles.

Yeah seen some planes he had but prices was sky high so had to pass. I have two sets of these figures which is 1 officer and 6 infantry, I would probably sell one set but have no idea what the value of them would be. Anyone have a idea on where you could get a value on items like these?

I have some preproduction stuff. This is a test shot WC-63 Vehicle:

I hate to say it but this and the other stuff I have is practically worthless. The fan base is so minuscule.

Test Shots tend to be less valuable than prototypes... Testshots come in a variety of different "flavors". Thus you'll see goofy colors used... usually whatever's handy in the hopper as it was. A lot of it does have to do with the toy line's life itself though.

Those seem like they're testing the color of plastics they're going to be using as well, so that adds something to it I believe.

True prototypes are much less common, and generally a bit more fragile.
