Sturmtiger

Post by CanberraPaul » Tue Dec 27, 2016 7:25 pm

I would really like a Sturmtiger kit in 1 18. It would be great if Matthew or Sanford would like to make a kit.

I would be in for a couple of kits if it came to that. Is anyone else interested in a kit?

I started one a while back but other custom projects got my interest. It might be a good idea for
a kit, I think the Tiger I is easier to find than the Panzer IV.

I will build it someday if Sanford does not. The only issue I had was the rifeling in the large barrel. But I think that I have that problem solved.

I could build a kit of this, I am currently tied up on building the Hurricane at this time, but in the near future could be a project I could undertake, if enough people wanted one.

Someone have a tiger tank hull that they are not needing for me to work off of and I will build this conversion kit. I have no tiger tank I want to take apart at the moment is why I ask. If you do and want to let me use one for the cause just PM me and let me know.

Still waiting on this, tap, tap, tap. I have a Tiger set asside and ready to go for this conversion...this is the BEAST I am dying to get!

I like the HUGE barrel on this one below.

But I am very torn between that and the ones on display on the below link which have the dots on the barrel end (not sure what those are...they look excellent! It's just that the barrel seems so much smaller for some reason than in the above shot).

Let me know which you will make, and who's making this beast.

I never realized the refiling was that extreme.

After a 10 year wait !!!
I am in the building mode.
I have put a hold on consignments for now and am working on prototypes.
The Ostwind proto is done and I am halfway through the Ersatz M-10 Panther.
The Sturmtiger will be after the Ersatz M-10

This is great news for those of us who still collect and build WWII. :!: A Sturmtiger will be very impressive in 1:18!!
Looking forward to the Ersatz M-10 Panther and Ostwind as well.
