Would anyone be interested in having a 1/18 British Hurricane if I reproduce them?

Like to figure out if it is worth the effort and the costs of materials.

I am checking to see if again if it would be a viable project from financial point of view from material and time. I would try to keep costs down as much as possible so I could sell them at a good price.

I have the photo-type for molding,. I also know it will cost me a lot just in molding material, and resin per hurricane.

I will follow through with the project, if there is enough interest to justify the cost it will take to make them.

Well I have the mold parts apart so could go ahead and start making molds. I did not get as much interest in a Hurricane as I had hoped, so am still waiting to see if it is financially a project I will do. I would love to offer a Hurricane for people's collections, but I can not go into the hole financially to do it.

So at this time I will watch, and see if there is enough interest for me to proceed in purchasing the molding material to make the molds. I usually do not price things till I have it all the way done, but I think I could sell these for the $250 to $275 range per plane.

Keep you all updated on this as I can.

Are those prices for a basic kit or a completed plane?

Update and few pictures, still progressing well and hope to be done before long. These are the parts that will be molded once ready to produce more.

I would be interested in a Hurricane also. I wouldn't argue if you made something for it to dogfight like a Macchi C202. HINT HINT

Excellent progress on that Hurricane, Aracula! It is looking great. Are you planning movable control surfaces and retractable gears? Do you plan to include decals with the final kit? This is starting to look very tempting...

Yeah will have movable control surfaces, and retractable landing gear, not sure on the decals yet, but will see once have the plane totally molded out. This project has been possible with the help I got from teebird on investing in it. I can not thank him enough for helping this become a reality.
