Zelda, thanks for the kind compliments and may I say your Brummbar looks really fantastic! I really like how you did the rear deck MG mount as well. Your camouflage painting is excellent and something to aspire to. Did you do an interior? Aracula's Brummbar kit is awesome :D

Great work Zelda, I'm sure CanberraPaul will be happy with it! I too like your camouflage painting. Tman don't sell your self short, you did a real nice camo job on your kit.
My Brummbar is on hold for a while as we get ready for Christmas, may be some work this weekend.

A big thank you to Aracula for producing these conversion kits, they are fun to work on!!!

Glad you decided on the zimmerit, because honestly if you wanted a mid- or late-production vehicle you really need it. And it seems to have come out good even being for a different scale.

Casting new hubs for the road wheels, these RC and Knock off Panzer IV's lack the detail of the other static 21st Panzer IV's.
I also liberated the more detailed tracks from a static Panzer, the RC and Knock off tracks stink to put it nicely

You could try plastic disks to cover the R/C axels. Not as good as the original wheels but certanly better looking.

Normandy, your Brummbar looks amazing :D Fantastic job with the Zimeritt and especially the disc camouflage pattern! I even like how you did the late-war exhaust pipes and even the rack for the spare wheels.

Matthew I've tried the plastic disks and they work very well.....I'm going to see how new hubs look. I've got
a question for you, did you ever make molds for Panzer IV tracks?? I need to replace the crappy RC tracks on
4 tanks.

Tman thanks, the Zimeritt sheets work great even if they're 1:16  The disc camo was very time consuming
but I think it came out ok and the late-war exhaust pipes were made because I took the standard Panzer IV
exhaust / muffler and used it on another project. :x
The rack for the spare wheels was made by Aracula!

Well its back to work.....

Way back when I made a copy of about an 8 inch section.

Not the whole track length.

Normandy,

You can take the 1/16 tracks they sell for the stugs and trim the center section just a little and they will fit the Panzer IV's the track is almost same width and is individual links, and are not that expensive to buy. Just a suggestion you can try.

Maritime I know I am working on a project for you, but if you ever decide you want a Brummbar just let me know I have all the molds to make more.

I got tired of the way the initial paintjob on my Brummbar looked as it really wasn't very accurate and just never sat right with me. After a few months of letting it sit, I decided to do a complete repaint and use the opportunity to get experience painting complex patterns with my new dual-action airbrush. I used a 21c 32x Brummbar model as a reference and the scheme is reasonably accurate for a vehicle either in the Italian or Western Front theaters. I'm pretty happy with the results :D

Nice repaint Tman, I like the look of it. Cool dio base! I'm always searching for a "place" to
take pictures of models and have it look believable.
