Is it real or just a dream ?

Sure looks real. Even has an item number and box art. Note the blotted out Swastika. Took a double take on the tropical filter though!

EDIT: More reserach shows those may not be tropical filters but perhaps a field mod Graf had done. See this article:

Still not warming up to the scheme. Looks like they chose the flashiest attention getter they could find. But it will do if it is reality.

August is winding down with September being the predicted release date. Not even showing up on Merit's own website. Not looking good.

Rats!

Here it is September and no word of an FW 190 much less a September release. So are these distributors being mislead or is it just wishful thinking to try to get in first :?:

Here we are in October. September was the wishful thinking/rumored release date. If they don't have something before Christmas, you can probably write it off with all the other prototypes that never became a reality. Merit is likely stuck with a bunch of overpriced MiGs and F-86s.

Can't help but wonder if the Chinese manufacturers are wanting Merit to commit to quantities they don't have confidence in selling :?:

Still hear crickets chirping.....

I've said before that I heard from a friend of mine that has connections with Merit and distributes their products at my local hobby store that the FW190 was held up (at least initially) over a disagreement between what Merit wanted to do with the model vs. what the Chinese manufacturer was willing to do. Merit wanted the machine gun cowling to be a separate part so they could do different models of the FW190, but the Chinese manufacturer was unwilling to do that... To me, it would then seem you should just find another manufacturer, but I have no idea how many Chinese manufacturers are capable of making the models that Merit designs and are able to do it more-or-less right.

NEWS from Germany:
The german distributor WARBIRDMODELLE told me via email today that delivery of the FW190 should be during 14.10. - 20.10.2016. Depending on how fast the customs duty Officers will work.
Some news from distributors /traders in the USA???

Well I just went to the warbirdmodelle site there are plenty of pics and my rusty German reads their header as saying approximately October 17 shipping date. Time will tell......

I really hope that is no fooling trick because we´re talking about several ordered and paid models.
I´ll let you know as soon as there are news.

WOW! It is real! Even shows it in retail packaging. Multiple photos. Take a look :!:

If that is indeed the finished production version shown, it looks great.

Certainly the packaging and presentation raises hopes!! Strange how no U.S. Distributors are advertising it that I have found...
