Hiya Toys Aliens 3.75″ – M577 Armored Personnel Carrier

Post by maritime96 » Wed Jul 13, 2016 10:39 am

Looks like Hiya toys will be doing the APC from Aliens in 1:18 scale. Looking forward to seeing this become reality.

This looks cool! Not going to fit with my 1:18 WWII but I like it.

Hiya's big on prototypes/promises. They fall short on delivering product.

Except for all the Marines and Power Loader that are currently shipping you mean? :?

Only thing they ever said they were working on, and didn't put out, was the Russian infantry... Given the lack of warmth they got to the Germans, I'm not shocked that they backed off.

That said, they've not confirmed that this APC is a done deal for retail... They've been exploring it the better part of this year I know, but I've not heard that it's a definite. Given that the Power Loader is between $85 and $120 depending where you look, this could wind up costing a ton... You get what you pay for with these designer toy lines though, generally speaking.

Now Hasbro, make us some Head Sculpt & Endor Uniform variations! The new Rebel Fleet Trooper gets the JJ Seal of Approval Though!
