Possible Armor On The Horizon

Post by pickelhaube » Sat May 07, 2016 7:30 am

Hey Guys,

Usually when I put a poll up guys always go off of the polls and state their own personal favorite tank .

I do appreciate this but because you may be one out of 30-40 guys that may not come to fruitations so here is my short list of armor fallowed by my long list .

How much interest if any from you all.

Short list
A7V
Hetzer
Marder II, III
Easy 8
Stuart
Su-85 Russian tank destroyer

Long List

T-55
T-70
Merkava
Mk-IV English WW1
Kv -2 the Russian monster
Duece and a half

I would also like to do the MRAP but they made one in 1/16 scale so that may have killed that idea.

Of course this list will carry on for years but it is so much easier talking about this than actually do it .

John Wayne : Mine was taller

I'd like to see the prelims on which version of the MRAP you would do.

The A7V would be interesting especially given that the next version of the Battlefield game franchise is going to take place in WWI. Might spark more interest in that conflict.

Battlefield in WWI is going to go over as well as Hardline. WWI mods were attempted for both BF1942 and BF2 and no one was interested.

I'll go with the German armor, which ever one you do. :D . A Hetzer would be great!

A Stuart, Easy-8, Duece and a half and an MRAP would be my picks for my wish list.

Merit has made a very nice prebuilt MRAP ATV...

Only problem is that it's in 1:16 scale, not 1:18. Here's a thread I started about it last December: http://www.warbird-photos.com/gpxd/view ... 40#p321740

Deuce and a Half.
Could it be made from an Indiana Jones Truck?

I know, I know, this wasn't one of the choices but....
Just wondering how difficult this would be if you already have the basic truck?

Depending on price I'd go for a Stuart or second choice, a Deuce and a half.

Made a Marder once.

And I know it has been a long time coming but I am about done with a Stug Mod for your Panzer IV's to be converted easily. Will get some pics of it soon, get some feedback on what people think.

Nice looking Marder Aracula.
I'd be interested in your Sturmgeschütz IV mod, looking forward
to seeing some pics.
