That is a fantastic deal for what is one of the better 1:18 scale aircraft. Basically the same price the 21c BF-109G sold for back in the day, and that model is not as good as the BBI plane. Flying Mule is a reliable online retailer, so this is something anyone that hasn't gotten the BBI BF-109G - or that wants another - may not wish to miss out on.

With the $4.99 shipping, the Hartmann is $64.94. Fortunately, I got it on Flying Mule last year for $60.25 with free shipping.
The Flying Mule's 1/18 MH-60 Black Hawk looked like a really good deal....until I realized it doesn't include the refueling probe.
These 1/18 models and the 1/32 F-4 Phantom appear to be in the dump stage. I wonder what that means for future releases----no more or more repaints?

PS---diecastairplane.com has the Hartmann for $60 plus free shipping if you increase the order to $100 and there's a 10% off promotion code which lowers it to $54.

I know the dump/sale of the BBI models is due to BBI itself wanting to loose inventory. My local hobby store also has all the said BBI models in stock at the moment for comparatively low prices. I have to agree with dragon53 that I have no idea what this means and personally feel it does not bode well for the future...

"Dumps" are never a good thing, if you are looking at it from the manufacturers viewpoint.

I would have thought that the BBI Hartmann 109 should have done well, but if the retailers are running clearances, guess not so great after all.
