There is still plenty of cutting to be done, it will look a little different by the weekend.
How are things progressing ?

I just got my turret in and can not wait to get started.

But it will be at least 2 months before I can .

"How are things progressing?"

Slowly Matthew, getting ready for Christmas and a Granddaughter are taking up some of my time.
Things have moved along since that pic was taken. I'll see if I can post some newer pics later.

I may put some more time into it this weekend.

Using the G version of the Panther for the VK 1602 Leopard will have a different look than most of
the existing small scale kits that are offered. Most versions of the Leopard used the Panther D or A both
of which have different hull angle than the G.

 That is a lot of cutting to get where you are. Still it is coming along nicely. Merry Christmas

A quick update....
Things are moving along, one of the biggest challenges was getting the 3D printed turret to look real.
Its very detailed but the printing process leaves lines, like a stack of baseball cards when they're
viewed from the side. Still more to do but here are some pics....

The last challenge is to glue the shortened tracks back together, then the weathering.

I really didn't keep track of time on this project, but from start to this point maybe fifteen hours.

Some pics with tracks on...

Thanks Maritime, If I do build another one it will most likely be scratch built (upper hull).
The hull and engine deck of the Panther G are wider than the D and A versions, the narrower
width of the earlier Panther give the VK 1602 Leopard its unique look.
I'll post some more pics this afternoon.

I've got two pics of the tank Commander, not much work on him....different head and readjusted the arms.
Don't know at this point if he'll have the helmet, a cap or officers hat. I may give him a Dot 44 camo paint
scheme to the jacket.
