Saw a picture of this by True Heroes at a TRU and it looks almost big enough. If anyone has this vehicle and can comment about the features (does it open up? etc..) that would be appreciated.

I am 98% sure that the rear hatch opens, but to a sparse/no-detail interior.

But yeah - about the closest thing to a 1:18 AAV-7 :) The GI Joe Warthog has much better features, but externally resembles the real deal less.

it's a fun vehicle but way under scale.....about 1/24 with 1/18 sized hatches. The rear does open but interior is not very big, will fit about 4 troops iirc. I had one a few years ago but eventually got rid of it, due to scale issues (just looked dumb with my 1/18 armor). Joe scale collectors should like it though, as it's still a decent size and looks the part. They made a green camo and sand version, as I recall. I had the green camo one which benefits from a bit of paint work (I added some black camo to the existing camo).
i never met an airplane i didn't like...
