As said above, the video is very good and illustrates several effective and relatively easy weathering/finishing techniques. Your gel reminds me of Testors CreateFX line in its thickness but seems to work a little better.

My only issue is this: If the tank was rushed out unfinished from the assembly line, it wouldn't really be so dirty, would it? Boring to look at, perhaps.

I have never used Testors stuff other than their enamel paints. The Aztek airbrush is a great design but it is plastic and breaks down alot. The stuff I use I make myself and over the past year I have worked the kinks out and now make it in lots of colors, its great for large models.

The Jagdtiger #87 did role out and reportedly defended its factory however its ultimate fate is unknown. So I had some freedom there to invision it surviving and fighting on to get dirty and banged up.

I was even tempted to do some night vision eqipment on it or one like this with the extra armor plates on the roof and rear in order to do a fictional 1946 version.
