Hi Matt and hi everyone.

Just wanted to say thank you for the mention Matt. I cannot speak for T-bid and Grunt but from my point of view i'm just a single piece in this puzzle. The past few years (yes, this project took YEARS) have been a marathon so i can only imagine what it has been like for you. It must seem over whelming at times but you've pulled this across the line. Merry Christmas Matt, and everyone here. Stay safe.

I just received my first kit, and it's just amazing - a marvelous effort! Thanks a lot to Matthew, and everyone else who helped this massive and detailed kit become a reality! And happy new year to everyone!

Hi! to Matthew and Everybody here.

I am Feris it's cool 8) be part of / or participate on this proyect.
I am almost the last one on turn (No. 41) in I have bought the Helicopter Mi 24-Hind.
In my humble opinion this is a Great jewel of the air engineering.

I don't know if, I am the only one from Mexico. But, I think that if everything goes well I could buy another later, depending, when I have received my first purchase.

I'll keep in contact
Regards

I have to agree. Pickel outdid himself on this project. Truly a labor of love and he deserves to be commended for his efforts and determination.

OK Guys ,

Here is an update.

The next 3 kits to be shipped are hanging up needing to be sanded and puttied one more time.

All of the parts should be made and are ready to be kitted.( For about 2 months now )

I thought that would happen this weekend but ... the wifey is on my case and I need to do some tile repairs in the master bath.

I have a gaping hole were the tile should be on the wet wall.

That will probably take up the whole weekend but next week except Monday seems to be wide open.

I will get those 3 kits out and start on the next batch.

I got total bunout right before Christmas and I did not even want to look at models.

I subscribe to FINE SCALE MODELER and the last 2 issues have come in and I haven't even opened them up .

I took peoples money for the 222 project ( to cover resin costs) and I felt that I had to press on with that project and it is DONE .

I have had my break and it time to get back at it.

Some of these guys have been waiting for 3 years .

You are almost last on the list and have been waiting the least time of all.

You will get your kit before the full build guys .

Almost half of them HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR 3 YEARS .

So you should think of yourself as the lucky one.

Check out this link guys

https://www.bing.com/images/search?view ... I3&iss=VSI

Camo paints and layout schemes.

Here is the Humbrol paint link .

https://www.humbrol.com/us-en/

Type in the color number in search and you can see what I will be using.

Color 94 ( tan ) can not be found so I am thinking it should be 74 any way that is what I will be using.

The full builds will be in this order.

Afgahn War

Cold War

Modern. I will not be doing the tiger tail and the line between the top camo and sky gray bottom will be strait.

The first one is actually brown on tan. if you check the humbrol color it looks dk brown.

The picture shows kind of a muted brown .

Here is an update .

it takes on an average one full day to pour one full kit and at best 2 .

Depending if I have the main hull done.

It takes about 4 hours to prep the hull because of the misshape on the bottom of the hull .

I can sort up to 1-5 kits in a day.

I can pack 1-5 kits in a day.

On a normal week I have 2 days to work on the HIND.

Saturday and Sunday .

That means it takes about a month to get 4 kits out.

So what I am going to do is start to work on 2 kits at a time .

That means in about 1-2weeks I will be shipping 2 kits out .

2 weeks is better than 4 weeks to be waiting OD ( on deck )

I will try this meathod when I start the full builds , I think

2 Af War then 2 Cold War then 2 Mod and so on.

I think that this could be a little fairer .

But this could be a logistics nightmare .

But we will see.

So what's everyone planning on doing for troops to go along with this? Debating using G.I. Joes to customize or going with the Indiana Jones Russians, tons of those cheap on Ebay from Hong Kong...
