It's nice kit but too expensive for me and too big for display. I will settle for the smaller kit under $100.

That's exactly my thought cnq, it's not that I can't afford it, there's just no room, that's why I posted it here instead of keeping it to myself! :D

A 1/18 B17 would be around 50" long. If those tiles are 1' sq like most are then it's not 1/18 scale. They could be 2' sq or 18" sq I suppose.

It says right in the listing that the wingspan is about 72", which is a touch over 1/18.

Basement tiles tend to be of the larger variety - that is not a bathroom he's taking the pics in. Also, since baseboard molding is usually about 3 1/2" high I would guess these tiles are of the 18" sort.

That is an R/C kit made by EAM, here is their site. http://www.eam.net/EAMRC/bomber17/bomber17.htm These have been around for quite a while but it appears they only sell them by request now. You could probably find some build threads on some of the R/C boards to see what all goes into building the kit. Looks like fiberglass fuselage and foam core wings. Quite a bit of work involved. Nice price for that kit though.
