Hey Melvin,
Is there any chance you all will be making WW1 figures for the upcoming 100 year anniversary of WW1 ?

Re: OURWAR WW2 German on shelf Dec.13!
WWI figures would be a dream come true
Part of me still thinks its a pipe dream in the end, but it would be great to have WWI soldiers in 1:18. My top choices would be German and British troops...
Hard to believe we are coming up to the 100th anniversary of the start of that war next year. It gets treated these days like something akin to ancient history (at least in the US) but we are still living with the consequences of that war today, such as the screwed up situation in the Middle East. I have noticed that other European countries remember that war far better than here in the US. When I lived in England, almost every town and village I went to had a memorial to those who were lost in "The Great War." One got the sense that WWI was still very much alive in the public consciousness there...

Any idea if online stores like Big Bad Toy Store will be carrying these? They currently have pre orders for the modern US Airborne figures, but these Germans haven't popped on their page yet.
I looked at the trap, Ray.

I am officially excited!
If they turn out to be easy to obtain an don't cost a fortune then I will be ecstatic, because those Germans look awesome!

Looking at these, I can't tell. Do all of them have articulation at the elbow? A couple look like they do, but the others, I can't tell...SolidSnakeEyes wrote:These are up for pre order on BBTS!

They all have Elbow joints... This is a company that gets that articulation is a big selling point for these figures, and skimping on it is only going to hurt them.
I can see mixing/matching their gear with 21st, and making some pretty damn awesome looking figures.

Wow, roughly $13 a figure plus Shipping. Long gone are the days of $5 XD figs at WalMart.
Oh well, such is progress. I will be ordering a set, but not quite yet.

Exactly; with a mix of accessories from 21st, BBi, and especially Dragon (mostly weapons and helmets), these guys will look great.Jesse James wrote:I can see mixing/matching their gear with 21st, and making some pretty damn awesome looking figures.

Well today's the day. I wonder if we'll hear from any other e-tailers regarding these figures?

Ah crap, sold out. Well that .....
So some time in early 2014 they should start showing up at bbts, if anyone can get them let us know what you think.
Melvin, anyone else going to sell these figures?

I pulled the trigger on one set from the preorder. Figured I would roll the dice and hope for the best.

I spoke with the importer today and they are not sure when these will arrive in the states. they are hoping mid February. I never was big on pre order since the prices usually get better once they hit stores. We will have these for far less then they are being offered for now.

Re: OURWAR WW2 German on shelf Dec.13!
Nice packaging and each figure comes with his own short biography and weapon description.
One of Melvin's pics from fighting 1:18 site....
ETA for these figures is mid February?.... well we've waited longer for less I like the look of these
figures, a welcomed addition to the 1:18 scale.
