Prototype armor and deck vehicles

Post by rschaap » Wed Sep 18, 2013 8:53 am

I recall a while back that Merit had toy show photos which included a 1/18 scale BBI Sherman T-34 Calliope Rocket Launcher, a M-48 Patton tank with side skirts (M48a5k korean version) and a couple of carrier deck tractors used for display purposes. I would have loved to seen them in production. Maybe someday...

This is a 1/35 scale model, however if anyone has a photo of the BBI model feel free to post it.

This is Tamiya's 1/35 M48, I don't have a photo of the of the 1/18 M48

The Merit display carrier tractors.

Yes it is. I described it as such in my first post and thought it was interesting that they had done a prototype version.

This set would have been cool for modern collectors...
