Definitely some nice customs there.
And nothing wrong with being Luftwaffe heavy.

I believe the Ta and the second Horten are from a german collectors friend. Both are high finished and higher prices HPh- models. Nice shoots!!
I know the problem with a Luftwaffe heavy collection. I´ve got several captured planes (Mustang, lightning, Thunderbolt, B25) in my collection or in work. Because there are never to much German planes in a collection

Great way to display them. Looks awesome. I displayed some of my collection in a park once. Took a lot of set up, but it was worth it.

Hi again,
Thanks for the nice comments folks, I really appreciate them!
Some answers to the questions...
The second Ho229 is indeed a HpH model. The original HpH sales price for this model was years ago in the 2500-3000 usd range!!!
I spotted this one (coincidentally) in the german eBay - it was there for over a month or so...
The asking price started somewhere from the 2000'ish range, but nobody threw their bucks in.
At the end of the day the asking price had dropped substantially, and finally I made an offer... I got it for less than 1/3 of the original HpH price!
(But still it's the most expensive model in the collection.)
Well, what else can you do than collect 1/18 Luftwaffe??
However, the Ta152H is not a HpH model, it's just my own custom conversion piece (as many of you know).
Cheers,
Juha

Juha,
congrats for the catch in ebay. I ´ve watched the Horten all the time my friend put it in ebay. But I´ve got Matthews version and the HPH was much to expensive for me.
Nice work at your Ta I really thought it is a HPH. Well done!!!
If you need more German planes --> think about the captured US-planes.
The germans even got a Corsair--> nobody knows if it ever flew in german services but they got one for sure.
Best regards from Germany

Blackblast,
I really loved many of your outdoor pics, particularly some Vietnam scenaries and airbase atmosphere.
You wrote you've difficulties to get some 1/18th item shipped to Chile, but you have more than 1 of each model... 3 or 4 M1A1 Abraham??? For me, the shipping costs to Switzerland are nightmares, usually higher prices than the item shipped... So, I usually could'nt afford more than 1, with some exception.
Like rschaap, I had a great pleasure to display vehicles outdoor, I think I've once showed the following convoys:

I'm planning on doing a Vietnam diorama with a bunch of soldiers, custom M113's, M48's a Mutt or two and some Huey's from my collection. I'm very excited about setting it all up for the photos. The other forum members photos are very inspirational. I like this forum a lot.
