Wow! Do you have some close-up views of the boats?

I personnaly have no display cabinet or shelves for my collection. So, it's simply hanging from my cellar's ceiling, a dirty, dark and cold place in winter. 2 F/A-18 and 11 "in flight" helo's, 2 more on the workbench... My dreams look better...

Fantastic collection Matt, and beautifully displayed. Must have cost a fortune.

I actually saved a couple of those images the first time you posted them, as think it is museum type quality, and the best displayed collection I have seen.

Life's pretty good, eh.

Nice thread rschaap!
It's great to see all these collections!

Lots and lots, and lots of great stuff here!

rschaap - sweet set-up! like your shelves of helos and planes!

chunks - you got a lot of stuff there! ha! it's all good. I see you also have some 1:6 Ignite romans (I got some of those too)
Can't be sure, but did you get a 1:18 King Tiger?!

supersonicfifi - Awesome Help collection! love those hueys!

tmanthegreat - As always, awesome collection and display. Very cool you can display stuff in different rooms!
I've limited myself to one - but it'll do.

Coreyeagle48 - very nice Naval aviation display you got there!

ATL_Matt - Very unique set-up you got. Love the Naval ships! and your whole set up is very museum quality! Awesome!

granch - very cool help display! I like the troops rappelling…"Air Assault!"

At present all my 1:18 stuff is in boxes :( and am currently displaying most of my 1:6 and 1:1 stuff. But maybe I can dig up some old photos of my 1:18 stuff...

It's great to see all the 1:18 stuff you guys have out!
It is the dang toy companies that have sometimes made me want to stop collecting toys!!!

Great topic here. It's neat to see everyones' collections.

I don't have a single image of my 1/18th collection, but here's a little sample of a few of my favorites:

Some very nice 1/18 there, Studly. 8)

And some pretty desirable and rare stuff as well.

Guess with shipping to Aus, might as well go for the rarer ones.

G'day Snake 95% of them i have got of evilbay . The most i have paid for shipping was about $80 US, but on the average its around $40-$65 US. I don't mind paying that as its hard to find any decent ,if at all 1"18 scale stuff here.

Quite impressive! You have your own 1/18 military museum. The planes really come to life hanging "in-flight". Particularly like the F-86 formation. They really look great together :!:

Thank you for the comments. The F-86 has always been one of my favorites. I have all five of the U.S. Air Force releases (21st century, Admiral and JSI) I even have some of the Walmart specials and a few of the German F-86s, including one of the Admiral all silver bird's. I was lucky enough to purchase 1/18 scale decals way back when for three different birds, "The Chopper", "Father Dan" and "Mig Mad Marine". Which are future conversions.

NICE collection ATL_Matt, quick question though, is there something going on with your Hellcat, or do the wings really droop that far?
A helicopter does not want to fly, it just vibrates so much that the ground rejects it

To answer the PM about the 1/18 scale collections, there are 28 planes displayed (not counting the ones on the floor awaiting flight), 40 military vehicles (tanks, trucks, APC's) 15 helicopters counting the ones resting on the center U-shaped display case (not pictured). As far as the diecast cars there are over 650 cars displayed in nine different display cases within the room. Writing this I think I have past the point of obsession, this is why I have to periodically rotate things. I have a ton of stuff in storage that's begging to be seen.

Thanks again to everyone who have posted their collections and thanks to the better halves for putting up with us.

This was one of the most impressive collections I have seen. It belonged to "P47faninchicago." My understanding is the location used to be a daycare. I saw he hasn't been on the forum since 2013.
