Well the Dauntless looks great, nice work!

If you have a price for the 183 kit figured out I'll prepay, I know supplies can be costly.
I can't get over the detail you've put into the cockpit (not to mention entire kit) thats
something I want to add to "in flight kit" of yours.

Beautiful looking model Nathan, great stuff!

It's been a while and I appreciate everyone's patience.

Looking at the numbers and this is where we need to be to do the full kits.

Full kits $290 +SH

I am considering the full builds those would be $475+sh.

We can spread the cost out if that helps.

Curious who's still interested, so I can get an idea on supplies.

Got my son home for the summer and I plan on putting him to work to get these done quicker.

Hi!

I'm definitively in for one full build. And if full builds are not possible then I "downgrade" this into one full kit...

Awesome job - it would be great to be part of this!

Update....Just finished my last two molds for the 183. Got the landing gear molded and first set of metal gear were better than expected. Couple small issues I'll have to figure out. Cast of the engine turned out great. Laying up some wings and hope to post some pictures soon.

Hey guys, I know it's been a while. I apologize.

I have my first full kit complete and ready to ship out to Pvanroy.

With the looming Av-8 around the corner I could't have picked a better time.

If your still interested PM me and we'll get things worked out. I have till the end of September to get these knocked out. After that everything stops for a month to relocate a store for work.

Till then thanks Nathan

normandy,

Is this the paint scheme you're going to go with for your TA 183 ?

cnq,

I haven't decided what scheme to paint it yet. I still have to finish the first one but that one is going to be desert camo.
I like this pic and the way the plane sits on the landing gear. 8)

Pizzaguy's 1/18 FW TA-183 Huckebein, full kit has arrived! WOW.
Everything is very well packed, bagged and labeled. I don't think anyone will be disappointed, unless
you didn't order one. :P
I'll have to set a start date for this kit. :D

Beautiful work Nathan!!!

Been working on Finn's 183 build. Made a some progress over the past week.
On the cockpit I used a dark gray paint for the overall surface. Cut off the cast gun sight and replaced it with a clear piece of acrylic.

On the Jumo I used steel for the darker color, aluminum for the lighter areas and flat black. I drilled 1/4" larger holes and 5/32 smaller holes to simulate looking thru the sheet metal into the inside portion of the engine.

X4's
Started off with some flat black, Aluminum and Steel.

The tip is painted with a 50/50 mix of plaid and white.

The wire pod I call it is painted with black, steel and red.

For the fins I used Silver, black, Brown, Yellow, Burnt Umber and Van Dyke Brown. Not shown is the Plaid and white acrylic.

I cut a template for the center panel to create the border. Randomly mixing the colors to create variations in the wood color.

That cockpit detail is amazing! As good as what 21c was doing in their heyday. Can't wait to see this in person :D
