I vaguely remember those from quite a while back, or at least seeing them in pictures. They actually look really good and I'm almost certain would have sold better than the Sahara figures. Its almost prophetic as Chap Mei has a bunch of western-themed items at TRU currently. Anything 21c would have been better.

I looked at the planes, no way they are 1/6 scale, more likely 1/12 scale? A P-51 in 1/6 scale would have a wingspan of just over 6 feet. His dimensions weren't making sense anyway.

Here's some pictures of the 1/6 scale T-6 we just displayed at the Tri-State Warbird Museum. It has a 7 foot wingspan. Huge! Those are life-size manaquins in the display and a 4' wide showcase beneath it. Gives an idea of how big a 1/6 warbird would have to be.

Axis:

Could you post a closeup shot of that showcase? I've been looking for a good shot of it forever!

The Two in the middle have a striking resemblance of Kurt Russel and Val Kilmer from Tombstone.

Well if you consider his wingspan is actually the length of the individual wing. Add it to what the width of the fuselage would be then it would be an overall wingspan over 6'.

These were shown by Dusty Trail Toys. My understanding is that Dusty Trail was an offshoot of 21st Century, operated by the 21st Century owner's son, which may explain why you are seeing them sold off with other 21st Century prototypes. Dusty Trail wasn't around too long. This is one of their product lines that we carried at one time:

...which sold horribly.

I just know where they went Razor. Knew someone who'd wanted them from the moment he saw them. I think 21st really missed the boat by not branching out like that, honestly.

Yes, I agree. The quality is far superior to anything out there.
The Gatling gun looks awesome! I could see some Civil War guys in 1/18 scale battling it out with this sweet Gatling...
Too bad.

Did anyone manage to get any of the prototypes for the 21st Century items that have been selling on Ebay lately?
I got a Bradley Commander. It is really cool.
I would love to find a way to copy and sell this.

Well I started the bid let us see what happens.

I do not want to go crazy high on these because the return just may not be there.

Replicating figures is a hard sell and the cost of the RTV and resin is high.
