OK ... Nothing ever works the way I want it to.

The Hortens are STILL NOT DONE

But I will finish then this weekend so I can ship Monday.

I have the $750 worth of RTV and I may just be able to fit in a couple of moulds this weekend.

I have already made a few for the main drive and idler wheels and I have managed to make a few pours of them as stated before.

Hell week starts on Monday for me.

Everybody wants the granite kitchens before Christmas.

I WILL TAKE OFF THE WHOLE WEEK AFTER CHRISTMAS AND DEDICATE THAT WEEK TO THE K-2 :D :D :D

Maybe just maybe I can have the time to post some pics of those wheels.

Pickel, a little off topic but you ever build one of these when you were a kid?

These 1:48 Aurora kits sparked my interest in WWII armor. :D

Now thankfully, we'll have one in 1:18...........just the right size. :D

One more kitchen to go and I will have a SOLID WEEK to spend on the Tiger.

I am so ready to devote the time.

I plan on working sun up to sun down.

Of course with daylight savings time that is not a lot of time.

But the Tiger 2 should be ready for production in early January.

Let us see what pans out :D :D :D

Work has indeed started with the King Tiger.

I have ordered 10 GALLONS of RTV and have almost used it all up

The mould for the upper body ways over 30 pounds

I really hope to have some pics for you guys Sunday or Monday.

I will definitely need more RTV to finish.

So if anybody else wants to submit your deposit it will help things out a whole bunch.

OK guys I finally have something to show.

I was really hoping to have the Tiger 100% but things ALWAY TAKE LONGER THAN I THINK THAT THEY WILL.

To be honest I did not do much of the build I had a 3-D printer do most of the work.

It cost me about $1050 to have the prototype done , I think that it was money well spent.

The T-34 took me about 2 months to make the prototype.

This way it is more expensive but to be honest again , I just would not have the time to have done this project.

I took off for a week and this is what the result is.

I would say i need about 3 more days and with fingers crossed the proto will be done.

Even with most of the work being done I need to engineer it so it can be broken down so copies can be made.

I got the holes tapped for the pioneer tools but those still need to be cleaned up and finished.

This is the Henschel production KT.

The next unit will be the Porsche turreted rendition.

Essentially the same tank but with the Porsche turret.

Last ( my favorite :D ) will be the Jagd.

No it will be moulded all in one.

I think that the Jagdtiger will be made without the skirts because I have to lengthen the body.

I will be fairly easy to cut them off, but you will have to add a little to the bottom of the sponsen.

Thanks guys for the kudos.
This has been a big investment.

This thing does look cool guys , like I said I need about 3 more full days worth of work.
Then about 2-4 more gallons of RTV and I will be ready for production.

2013 production !!!

The Horten took a full year from concept to full build production.Taking about 8 months to build the proto.

The King T took a full year to start and will take about 2 weeks to go into production.

Now is the time to lock in your orders .

If you want one, please send in your deposits.

More pics to fallow.

I guess I could do a custom on the custom.

I guess for an additional $25 I could cut them off and add to the sponsen and it will be ready to go.

The mould for the main hull is the biggest mould I have made to date.

It is about 4" thick 14" wide and about 20" tall.

It weighs about 30 pounds

So making a new body will have to wait until I get to the Jagd.

All said and done I think that I will have invested over $1,000 worth of RTV when this project runs it's course.

WOW,the King Tiger looks really massive. I cant wait to see it next to the panther.
The Jagdtiger should be the biggest.
After this,i will have to get a M10 so my U.S. army can stand a chance.
